Kabanata 21

"WHAT THE HECK?!" I screamed. "BRING ME DOWN, DIMWIT!"

I breathe heavily when I realized my situation. Nasa itaas ako ng isang puno, nakasabit. My hood is hanging while I'm stepping on the air. I felt like chocking!

Below, I saw Robin smirking. Nakatitig ito sa 'kin na tila ba ini-enjoy ang isang palabas. I glared at him.

"Help yourself!" he shouted. Umupo naman ito saka kalmadong nakatitig sa 'kin.

Napatingin ako sa paligid, baka sakaling may makatulong sa 'kin. Pero wala akong makita. Napahawak ako sa nakasabit kong hood. It's thick. Pero ramdam kong posible itong matanggal.

I clicked my tongue and shook my head. Oh, shit. This is bad.

"Maraming makakatulong sa 'yo, actually," Robin said from below and took a bite from an apple.

I swallowed. I took a deep breath before screaming. "AAAAH! FUCK YOU!"

"Ouch!" I complaint when Robin slapped my wrist.

"Don't you ever do that again," nanggagalaiting saad nito saka ako tinalikuran.

I almost burst out when I saw red spots in the back of his arms. Earlier, when I am still hanging, instead of helping myself, a group of ants came and attack him. Yes, those little ants started to bite him. And also yes, kagagawan ko naman.

Good thing he flew that causing the ants to stop him. Wait, scratch that. That isn't a good thing.

Sinundan ko si Robin nang magsimula itong maglakad. He seems mad. I won't apologize anyway because that is perfectly fair.

I didn't help myself to get down earlier. Iko did, when he showed up and told me to cling to the branch where I'm hanging to. Saka niya kinuha iyong hoodie ko, then helped me to get up.

"Here," Robin suddenly said. Inabot naman niya sa 'kin ang isang mansanas.

Akmang kukunin ko na ito nang bigla niya itong hinagis paitaas. Kumunot ang noo ko nang sumabit ito sa kahoy above us.

"That'll be your food for this whole day," he said and turned his back to me.

I'm left dumbfounded when he said those. How could he—

Okay. Fine.

Napalinga-linga ako sa paligid saka hinanap si Iko. But he's nowhere to be found. I tried calling him using my mind, but I didn't continue my plan when I saw him through my visions. He's talking to another monkey. I can hear his heart, beating rapidly.

Is he freaking in love?!

Napa-iling na lamang ako saka muling itinuon ang tingin sa itaas. Maybe I can summon other animals? But that would be easy for me. Hmm...

"Please fall," I whispered.

My eyes widened when a vine, that surrounds the tree, suddenly moves. Inangat ko ang kamay ko saka rin ito umangat. I smiled. It's following the rhythms of my hand!

Kinontrol ko ito upang kunin ang mansanas sa itaas. Sometimes it slips; sometimes I hit it that could make the situation worst.

Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako saka napa-upo. Pinagpatuloy ko ang ginagawa ko. But the apple is hard-headed. Ugh, stupid.
