"Dude, what's the matter?"

I was crying.

I couldn't do anything for my sister. I just let her lay there and suffer.

I wiped my tears and said, "Nothing."

We walked out of the school and into the parking lot.

I lit a cigarette and said to Brett, "What you do with Lena?"

He tilted his head and said, "Oh her? I took her home."

I said, "How?"

He rolled his eyes and said, "Remember you gave me a key."

I said, "Oh."

He shook his head and said, "You need to get it together."

I slid down on the wall and held my legs to my chest. I threw the cigarette down and saw Danny come my way.

He stepped on the cigarette and said, "What's good."

I sighed and said, "Not now Danny."

He said, "What's your deal?"

Cole said, "His sister."

Danny said, "Oh...The one YOU didn't help?"

I looked at him and said, "What did you say?"

Danny smirked and said, "Your sister, she asked you for help but you didn't give it to her."

I looked away when he stepped closer to me.

Cole said, "Hey man, I suggest you back up."

Danny looked his way and said, "What are you gonna do if I get closer?"

Cole was about to get closer when Brett grabbed Cole's wrist and said, "Danny, we warned ya."

Danny rolled his eyes and he stepped closer towards me. He squatted down and slammed his hand over the top of me.

I looked away.

He said, "You know, I had to get in the middle of that fight and defend her because YOU couldn't do anything about it."

I looked up at him and said, "Do not test my patience, Danny."

He snickered and said, "You know Lena is actually really cute. How about you give her to me?"

Brett said, "Oh man, You did it."

I got up.

Danny said, "Oh now your all big and bad."

With a swift movement, I grabbed Danny's neck and pinned on the wall.

Cole said, "Dude, stop. Your gonna hurt him."

I looked his way and said, "You know how I get about my sister, Cole."

He looked away.

I turned back to Danny and leaned towards his ear.

I said, "Never talk about my sister again."

I threw him on the ground and said, "Get out of here."

He got up to walk away when I said, "You're not apart of the gang anymore."

Danny huffed and said, "Whatever."

He walked away while I turned back to Cole and Brett.

I rolled my eyes and said, "Can yall take me home."

They nodded and we walked towards Cole car.
