Chapter 1

(Cayde POV)

When I jump out of my ship in the hangar I see Ikora "Ikora hows your day been. Just kiddin don't really care" I say walking out of the hangar. I accidentally bump into a another person. "OMG! I'm so sorry" she says "Don't worry about it I say." When she looks up at me she immediately started blushing. "Y-You're Cayde right" "The one and only" i say. She runs away probably to her room.

(Y/N) POV

I ran to my room blushing furiously. I had been watching Cayde for a long time trying to build up the courage to talk to him. I guess you could say i have a crush on him and i lost my chance to tell him. I was breathing hard when i walked out of my room. I was going to tell Cayde i liked him. I was very nervous when i walked into the hall of guardians. I walked up to Cayde and said "Uh, hi Cayde." "Hi there guardian whatcha need." he said. "Umm. I wanted to ask u if u would.....give me a mission." i said. damn it i thought. i heard a strange ticking noise all of a sudden. " Uh sure here." he handed me a piece of paper that said "kill Ghaul on his ship." I ran out of the hall of guardians thinking to myself "why am i so stupid"

(Cayde POV)

When I finally stopped ticking i saw Ikora looking at me with interest. "Cayde can we talk in private" she said. "uh oh" i thought. "Talk to her" she said. "I try but she just keeps running away." "Well run after her then." I gave her a look of annoyance. "Don't look at me like that go get her." she gave me a slight punch on the shoulder then gave me her apartment number. "her name is (Y/N). "Fine." i said. I ran over to her apartment and knocked. I saw the door open and there was (Y/N) looking as beautiful as ever. "H-hi Cayde." she said. "Hi (Y/N)" i began ticking again. "Uuuuuhhhh wanna go get some ramen?" I said
