Chapter 17

Y/N's POV
We had been on the beach for a while now and the sun was setting, although it was only about 5:00 pm.

"Wahh the sunset is so pretty Y/N! Why don't I take a picture of you standing in front of the sea as the sun sets!" He beamed. I smiled and nodded. I stood in front of the cold, dark blue waves while Tae took out his phone and snapped a few pictures of me. I did a variety of different poses, some of them being me twirling or some of them being me spreading my arms out while tilting my head back.

"Y/N do a cool pose!" Tae whined. I giggled and with the accumulation of all of the half hours of stretching I did in karate, I bent into a bridge. (A bridge is when u stand up then bend ur body until your hands touch the ground, making your arched back look like a bridge.)

"Woahh..." he said as he snapped more pictures. This process went on for a little longer, until he finally said that we were done. I walked over to him and we looked at the pictures together. I must admit, they were pretty aesthetically pleasing. Form the orange, pink, and purple hues in the sky to my dark, shadowy figure in front of the ocean, I was overall pleased with the outcome.

"Wow Tae you're a great photographer!" I complimented.

"Thanks! But Y/N we're not done yet. I still have one more place to take you."

"Really?! Thank you Tae! Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise." He explained as we walked back to his car. I shook my head playfully as we both stepped into the vehicle.

At a stoplight he put a blindfold over my eyes. I resisted at first, but he said he wouldn't take me to the surprise place if I didn't put it on. So, with a huff, I agreed. We had been driving for a few more minutes until he stopped the car. He guided me around for a bit, until we halted. He removed the blindfold from my eyes but told me to still keep my eyes closed.

"Okay, you can open them now."

"Wowww..." I stood in awe to see a fair! How did he know I love fairs so much?! I saw the flashing colorful rides as well as heard people's chatters and laughter. I smiled extremely widely and for the second time that night, I hugged Taehyung. He chuckled and hugged back.

"Omg thank you Tae so much your the most awesome best amazing person ever!" I exclaimed excitedly. He laughed and muttered a 'you're welcome."

We both went into the fair and I admired all of the unhealthy fried food and game booths. I spun around in glee as he continued to laugh at my silly behavior.

"Hey Y/N do you want cotton candy?" He asked me. I was about to say yes, but then remembered that I was on a diet because of karate, so I shook my head no politely.

"I'm actually on a diet."

"Why? You don't need to be on a diet. Besides, it's just one cotton candy stick, it won't hurt right?"

I pondered the thought for a little and then goofily sighed "Okayyy, but just one." He smiled happily as he bought me a blue and pink cotton candy stick. I beamed at him and skipped along the fairgrounds, feeling happy.

It had been an hour of endless rides, games, and laughs, but both of us were getting tired and we were ready to go home.

"Hey Y/N let's ride the Ferris wheel for the last ride!" I nodded as we both approached the said ride.

We got into the Ferris wheel and smiled as it went up higher and higher into the air. The higher we went, the prettier the view of the city looked.

"It's so beautiful..." Tae and I whispered in unison. We giggled and sat in silence for another minute until I said "Taehyung thanks for taking me out today and getting my mind off of Jungkook. I had a great time. Thanks for the beach, the rides, the cotton candy, and the games. No one has ever really done something like this for me before and I'm happy to say that you were the first." He smiled at me.

"You're welcome Y/N. You definitely deserve it. You've been through hell a lot of your life and I feel like nobody should experience the kind of things you did. So, your welcome." He hugged me and I hugged back, but that was all we did. Yet that was enough to make the butterflies in my now toned stomach swirl around like a tornado.
