Chapter 21

Taehyung's POV
I widened my eyes when her location popped up. I was so confused. Why is she so far away? In a split second, my mind starting coming up with crazy scenarios. What if she's dead? What if people are hurting her?

I began to sweat in worry. Even though it's 1:00 am, I couldn't care less right now, I need to make sure she's okay. So, I quickly ripped out a piece of paper and wrote a note to my mom telling her what happened and I might not be home tomorrow. I sighed and grabbed a bag and stuffed some items in it. First, I started with a knife, and a long one at that because I never know what can be waiting for me. Next, I packed a change of clothes just in case. I stuffed a few water bottles in there as well. That should be good.

I crept my way down stairs and made sure that I closed and locked the front door. Since I am not old enough to drive yet, I grabbed my wallet and began to walk to the bus stop. I waited for about 5 minutes when I suddenly remembered that the busses here don't go three hours far. I ultimately ended up on taking the bus as far as it can go then ordering an Uber.

The bus came and I stepped in and as expected, it was deserted except for an old woman probably in about her 60's sitting in the very front. I smiled to the old woman and made my way to the end of the bus.

It's been about an hour now and the driver shouted "Last stop!" I walked to the front of the bus and hopped off thanking the driver. I looked around and had no idea where I was. I looked back down to my phone to see that I was roughly an hour and a half to two hours away. I quickly ordered an Uber. While I was waiting, I walked into a supermarket to get a packet of sushi or something to eat later. I hastily got the sushi and paid for it. I went outside and my Uber was there waiting for me. I smiled slightly and stepped inside.

Throughout this whole ride, the driver has been trying to make conversation, but I'm just really not in the mood at the moment. She would talk for a long time and I would reply short things like "oh" and "ok." She eventually got the hint and stopped talking. Now I was officially 5 minutes away and by the looks of things, Y/N definitely wasn't safe. We were in the middle of nowhere and I was getting more scared by the second. Finally, the GPS said we arrived. The driver basically pushed me out of the car, and I mean, I wouldn't blame her because this place is creepy as hell.

I didn't know what to do next. I was literally in the middle of nowhere, but then I heard a scream. I began to panic but then remembered that I'm doing this for Y/N. I ran in the direction of the scream and soon saw a building that was dimly lit. It was in the forest and it honestly looked like a jail. The screams continued but they didn't sound like Y/N at all. I didn't care though, so that's why I ran to the entrance and carefully creaked open a door that was already slightly ajar. I peeped around a corner and saw two guards there. Shit what now?! I thought. The screams continued but this time one of the voices sounded so damn familiar. I heard the sound again and gasped quietly when I realized that the voice belonged to no other than Y/N. I had an idea.

I ran back outside quietly and dialed the police. Y/N and those other people will not die. Not on my watch.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"Please help me. I'm in ********* area in the woods and I hear screams coming from a jail. I-I went looking for my gir-friend, my friend once she went missing and I tracked her lo-location and found her here. I need help." I stuttered quickly.

"Ok sir we will send the police over immediately." Then, she hung up. My whole body was shaking and I was tired, cold, and scared but I remained strong for Y/N.

I waited about 5 more minutes of hearing the piercing screams coming from the building when finally the police arrived along with the ambulance. I sighed in relief as the police bolted into the building with guns equipped and ready. I followed them in with my long knife out. I saw the police handcuff the guards and threaten them with tasers. I walked to find a bunch of cells and that's when I saw her.
Y/N. She was bloody, bruised, and cut. I quickly ran over to her and kneeled down.

"Y-Y/N?" I wavered.

"T-Tae?"

"Oh my god Y/N what happened to you?"

"Lo-long story." She said as she passed out immediately after. I screamed and called to the ambulance to come inside. They took her from my arms and escorted her on a medical bed and I ran outside to find chaos. Many police officers were putting multiple guards into the cars as well as... another girl?

There were also paramedics putting Y/N along with 3 other girls into the ambulance but I didn't get a good look at their faces. The ambulance asked if I wanted to come in the car and I immediately nodded. I need to know the whole story. Now. Because whoever did this to these girls, especially Y/N, will never see daylight again. And I mean never ever again.
