Disclaimer: I began writing this during August 2012, when I was 13. I am now 19; in 6 years a lot has changed, including (I hope) my writing ability. Some things in this book are immature and may not reflect my current opinion or belief. There will also be quite a few grammatical errors and misspellings, this is something I am attempting to correct. I would, however, like to thank everyone for reading this book, I am overwhelmed at the response I have received over the years. Also, reading the comments I am aware of a lot of people criticising me for certain things I have expressed, I apologise if I have ever offended anyone, but this work is simply my opinion. In 6 years Wattpad itself has changed and I have not used this site since 2015, thus some things I say may be outdated. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy my rants.

So it begins: My (probably) extremely boring review about why Wattpad can really piss me off. I know many people agree, let's look over a few points of what really annoys me about Wattpad:

1) Firstly, there are so many fake people on here - mainly the 'emo/scene' type - with fake profile pictures. Also, so many people involved in 'coma's'/car crashes. I'm not taking a stab at 'emo's' or being rude if your friend really is in a coma or something; I'm not calling you fake, but this does appear to be a trend on Wattpad now. Obviously I am not the only person who has noticed this as there is even an account dedicated to sniffing out fakes on Wattpad (2018 update -FakeBusters I believe they were called, this account appears to no longer exist).

2) Secondly, the very, very cliche books on Wattpad, I know many people enjoy these type of works, but when I go on the Whats Hot list I really don't want to be reading all these (sometimes badly written) stories all about Werewolves, Vampires, Nerd/Players or children with abusive parents who run away and find love etc. (I know abuse is very real, but the abundance of these plots on Wattpad is becoming tiresome. Where are all the unique and different stories?). 

So, that is only two of the countless things that annoy me about Wattpad. I'm not trying to be mean, or stop you from writing these types of novels. I don't want my opinion to stop people from writing, I encourage everyone to give writing a go and write what you want, of course. I just want to address the issues and display what puts me off Wattpad, as I personally don't enjoy reading these copy-cat cliché Wattpad stories. 

We are all entitled to our own opinions so don't judge mine, okay?
