"Uh..."
I fumble for words. Can I trust the kid not to tell anybody?"What is it? I can keep secrets!" Sally states, smiling up at me.
Sighing, I get up off of the bed and crouch down in front of her.
"You can't tell anyone about this except Slenderman, ok?"
I respond, waiting for an answer.
"I promise! Only Slendy!"
She cries, looking triumphant and standing up dead straight with a serious expression and holding a mock salute pose.I chuckle slightly.
"Ok. Inside this box is a special keyboard, and whatever you type in I have to do!"
I explain, making it as easy to understand as possible."So I could put 'make a cheese sandwich' and you'd have to do it?"
She asks, trying to figure it out."Almost. You would have to say-
'P.jpg walks to the kitchen and makes a cheese sandwich.'" I state, and a flicker of understanding crosses her eyes. Then the dreaded question.
"Can I try?"Stopping, I ponder my choices here. It would break her heart if I said no, and she promised that she wouldn't tell.
"... ok, pull on the latch bit there."
I say simply, and she complies."Now pull the box by either side," she does it, "and type P.jpg, and then type whatever you want me to do. It won't work if it's too complicated, though!"
I lie, simply so that she won't do something bad, like 'P.jpg runs downstairs and dances around the hallways' or something. She pulls upon my tiny box to reveal the keyboard hidden inside.
She giggles and runs across the room,
And when I ask what she's doing she simply states that "Secret!"
I think she wants to make sure I'm not lying.
I hear the keys click and watch her press enter, and suddenly my body jerks up in an awkward position, and I'm running across the room and I stand in front of her. I crouch down to her level, and hug her.
That's adorable... she could have made me do practically anything in the world, but as my body fades back into my own control, she shows me the screen.
The words are-'P.jpg runs across the room and hugs Sally.'
I hug her again, and she looks a bit shocked.
"Why are you hugging me again?"
She asks, curiosity seeping into her voice.
"Because you're very sweet, and you just made me feel better."
I answer, letting go."Shall we play dolls now?"
She asks, and I nod my head yes.
I think I scared her a bit, though, because as I nod my head, my neck glitches drastically and suddenly it snapped at an unnatural position. It didn't hurt, though."Are you okay?"
She asks in a squeaky voice.
"Yeah, I glitched a bit, sorry."Around half an hour passes with us playing with these adorable dolls with shoulder length hair, before she looks away for an unnerving second and looks back at me before saying-
"Slendy wants me to go down and talk to him. I'll see you in a minute!"
"Bye!" I call back before she's out of the door and running down the stairs.Around 5 minutes pass with me lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling and just thinking, before a hard knock echoes throughout my room.
Sally is way too small to make a noise that big.The door swings open, and the guy that said he loves roses is standing there, walking in with a beautiful red rose in his hand and leaning against my cabinet.
"Why are you crying..?"
He asks gently, the strange smirk wiped off of his 'face' and replaced with a frown of worry."Huh..?"
I ask, feeling my face, and sure enough; warm tears are dripping down my cheeks. Random dysphoria, I guess."Are you okay?"
He asks. For a guy who seems so flirty, he is actually kind of sweet."Yeah, dysphoria, I gue-"
I shouldn't have said that. Hopefully he doesn't know what that means, or he'll realise that I'm a trans boy..."You're trans? Does anyone know?"
I shake my head and think
'Please don't tell, please don't tell, please don't tell...'
He chuckles slightly and states "I won't tell, if you accept the rose~"
He holds it out to take.Suddenly, Sally walks back in, sees the guy that likes roses, and screams-
"GET AWAY FROM MY FRIEND, OFFENDER!""Well Then, guess I'll tell them."
Smirking, he leaves the room."Tell them about what?"
Sally asks, looking up at me with puppy eyes."Do you know what transgender is?"
I ask, expecting a shake of the head."Kind of," She replies, "but tell me anyway."
"When your born, the doctor tells the mummy and daddy whether it's a boy or a girl," I start, "but sometimes they get it wrong."
"They get it wrong?!" She sounds shocked.
"Yes. So I was born in a girl's body, but I'm actually a boy, because the doctor got it wrong. It's not about bodies, it's about how our brains are shaped and what we are most comfortable with. I accidentally told 'Offender' that I felt dysphoric.""What does dysphoric mean?"
I ponder how I can answer that simply."You know what being depressed is?"
She nods.
"Dysphoric is the feeling you get sometimes that's a lot like depression, except you feel dysphoric when you are reminded that you're born in the wrong body."She pauses for a second.
"So you were born a girl but are actually a boy, and you felt dysphoric. When Offender came into your room, you accidentally said that and now he knows that you were born a girl. And he's going to tell everyone unless you take the rose?"I nod sadly, and burst into floods of tears. I bury my head into my hands and rest them in between my knees.
"Don't cry puppet! But you cannot take the rose! Don't! Slender says that he does bad things to you if you take it!"
I cry harder now.
"But what am I going to do, Sally? There's bound to be someone who is mean to me about it! A transphobe or just an as- a meanie... and if I take the rose then Offender will do bad things, and if I don't then people will make fun of me for ages or treat me differently..."She just hugs me. In all honesty, I don't think there's anything I can do about my situation, so I just hug back and cry.
Sally let's go and outs her hands on my shoulders, forcing me to look at her.
"Slendy said that I have to tell you something. Don't let anybody except me use the tiny box, ok? He says that most people here are not to be trusted."I sniffle slightly and nod. I definitely won't let Offender get hold of it.
"Ok."
I say, wiping tear from my face. I glitch again, and this time I appear by the door, in the same position."What the hell..."
I mutter under my breath. I need to get this under control."Woah! You can teleport?"
She cries, getting very excited suddenly."No, i-i must have glitched or something."
"Huh. BEN does that sometimes! Not as bad as you, though. Herobrine did it once, but he said that it doesn't really happen anymore!" She says quickly, very hyper now.
She looks to her left again, and looks back.
"Splendy wants to make you a welcome party! Let's go!"
She yells, sprinting out of the room and running down the corridor and knocking on a door covered in polka dots. The tall guy that said he loves colours and laughter answers, and says-
"Yay! Sally! Puppet! Let's start a party so that people can get to know you a bit better and we can have some games! How old are you?"
"17, are you the Splendy that Sally spoke of?" I respond, looking up at him. He is at least 8', and he is.. very hyper."17? Wow, I thought you were 12!"
"I was at SCP. They probably did something that prevented growth."
I say quietly, looking down at the floor and fiddling with the hem of my shirt. He says sympathetically; "Oh, that's awful! Well, we're here for you now! Let's organise the party, shall we?"
