"Why?" I ask kind of annoyed

"You know I love the beach and that's where me and Sam we're headed anyways so why not make it a carpool?" Lauren says

"Oh I can think of a couple reasons" I say under my breath

"I'm down if you two are" Sam says

"Cool with me, let's go" Noah says pulling my hands into his

"Pull up here" Lauren says as we drive onto the beach

"Why here?" Noah asks

"My boyfriend said to meet him here" she says

Thanks to Noah and Sam, I was sitting in a car with my vengeful ex who just revealed the real reason she wanted to carpool, great.

"Hey babe!" Lauren says as she runs out of the car and towards her boyfriend

"This was a mistake" I say as me and Noah exit the car

"It'll be fine, let's go for a walk or something" he smiles

"Y/n I swear I didn't know she was meeting him here" Sam says

"Sam its okay" I laugh

"You wanna do a bonfire?" Noah turns to me and asks

"I kinda wanted to swim and take my mind off of things" I shrug

"Swim in the dark?" Noah asks

"That's funny" Sam says. "That's the same thing Lauren said"

"-a bonfire sounds great" I quickly say

"What about that walk?" he smiles

"Maybe in a second I've been on my feet all day, come hold me" I smile as Noah sits down and I lay against him

"So y/n, how's that movie coming along?" Lauren asks as she runs towards our bonfire from the water

"It's great, Sam and Noah were the perfect pick for the roles" I say confused

Why was she speaking to me. She never wants to speak to me.

"You have any other movies line up?" She says

"Yeah a couple actually" I say. "What about you, anything coming up?"

"Yeah, maybe" she smirks

"Who wants to sit and say nothing" Sam says

"What about when you wrecked our car drag racing?" Sam laughs

"Oh then what would you call it?" Sam says

"Maybe drag racing?" Noah laughs

"Exactly, And she hit an Range Rover on top of it" Sam says

"Damn I bet your insurance got fucked up" Noah says

"Well it was in his name so my insurance was fine!" I laugh

"Lo she didn't really leave me with a bill" Sam says

"Do you always treat your friends like shit?" She says

"Should you really be accusing someone of treating someone like shit?" I say

"I've always been civilized Sam" she says making me let out a small laugh

"Something funny?" She asks

"And here we go" Sam says

"It's not a blatant question" I say

"Whatever" She says turning towards her boyfriend and saying something to him

"Lauren why did you even want to come here?" I say

"I wanted to see for myself just how much you've changed, you haven't" she says. "You're still the same immature selfish bitch that doesn't give a damn about anything unless it benefits her!" She says

"Lauren stop" Sam says

"What the fuck did I do to you Lauren!" I say

"Forget it" she says

"No! You've been pissed at me for 5 years now, what the hell did I do to you to make you hate me so much?!" I say
