First of all, I want to give everyone that's still reading this story a big and sincere thank you. Your votes, comments and reads mean the world to me! I never expected to get more than 1200 reads when I started it, and once again, I appreciate the hell out of that!
And yet...I thought long and hard about this, but I decided to put my story on hold for an unspecified period of time. I haven't been feeling happy with the last few chapters I wrote (especially the last one, that's why I took it down completely) and updating every week has been feeling more like an obligation than anything else.
I began to write this story with just an overall idea of where I was going with it, but with each new chapter, I became more and more aware of the fact that I wasn't telling what I wanted to tell because my ideas just wouldn't translate into the right words. Writing in a language that isn't my native one definitely added to that challenge. Plus, publishing a new chapter every week makes it harder for me to completely change a storyline that I'm not satisfied with. In retrospect, maybe it would have been better to write (more of) the story before publishing it. Maybe I'll do that eventually, but for now, this story and I are on a break. But, much like Ross and Rachel, who knows what the future holds!
