Backstory: She was born out of wedlock, but her parents didn't mind. They even had a second kid after she was born, seven years after her. When the apocalypse hit, their parents didn't want to live in the world with zombies. Little did Valerie and Jango, her brother, know that their parents would go insane in the short span of 7 months. Valerie knew the signs, saw it in a documentary once, so she got a gun, and got Jango out of there. They tried their best on their own, and are going pretty good.
