"right you two sit there" miss commanded.

they both sat down in chairs opposite the desk whilst miss katsuki shut the door and walked to the opposite side of the desk and sat down.

she sighed.

"kaori, i chose you as a part of our lingual program to try and improve your people skills, i paired you two up specifically as i thought you two matched well together. was i wrong?" she asked.

they both sat in silence.

"right there is only one thing i can do, heechul, you will be placed in emergency housing with a reserve student whilst we decide what will happen from here. kaori, you will return to normal lessons. you are disinvited from the lingual program and will no longer participate. i'm disappointed in you kaori." miss katsuki said, her voice heavy and sullen.

kaori got up and left. heechul followed afterwards and they both parted ways down the corridor.

kaori was making her way home when her phone rang. she groped for it in her pocket before pulling it out and reading the name on the screen, she smiled.

"hi suga" she said into the phone.

"hey, so how'd it go?" suga asked.

"well i've been disengaged from the lingual program and heechul is now living with another student for the next two weeks"

"ahh, yeah he is now staying with a girl called Sana. she's super annoying" suga replied. "total downgrade"

"ah right, it's a relief honestly, i finally have my own room. heechul conjng tonight to collect his stuff though" kaori replied, now feeling slightly sad at the thought of not having heechul with her. Miss was right, they did get on well.

"you're having second thoughts aren't you" suga stated. no reply. "look i know it's not my place to say but heechul didn't treat you well today, you deserve better"

kaori lingered on his words and a realisations came to her. "i do don't i" she stated to herself.

"hey, wanna hang out tonight?" she asked.

"i thought heechul was coming over?" suga said.

"exactly" kaori replied.

it was five o'clock in the afternoon, kaori was sitting with suga on the sofa. he was so fluent in japanese that conversing with him was significantly easier than with heechul.

suga picked up a slice of pizza from the coffee table. he suggestively put it near kaori's face. she looked at suga with questioning eyes but chuckled and took the end of it in her mouth. suga chuckled as she chewed.

"wow you are kinkier than i thought, i didn't even have to ask you to take it" he chuckled.

kaori's face went red and she pushed him away.

"ahh cute" suga said whist regaining his balance.

suddenly heechul came into the house and saw the two sitting close together. kaori and heechul locked eyes but he looked away and walked into the hallway.

"awkward" suga whispered making kaori laugh.

"so suga what do you want to do" kaori says as she snuggled and stretched under the shared blanket on the couch.

suga stretched and placed his arm around her shoulders slyly. kaori looked at his hand and then back at suga. "you serious"

"worth a shot" suga said as he went to remove his arm

kaori quickly placed it back on her shoulder and rested her head on his chest.

the sound of heechul clearing his throat echoed throughout the room.

the pair turned around to see him standing in the door way.

heechul flares at kaori and left.

suga turned to kaori.

"ignore him"

"hm" kaori said whilst setting her head down to rest again. her conscience felt heavy. she missed heechul, yeah they had a pretty big fight but was it really big enough to end their friendship?
