Riya mujhpe kitna trust karti hai uski life ka sabse worst part mere saath share karne ko taiyar hai kya main uska sacha friendship deserve karta hoon!
He held her palm between his hands and carassed her..

~Flashback begins
Maa,Paa,Me and Karthik..We were a good perfect happy family.
Karthik bhaiya though I never called him bhaiya was seriously my everything,Woh bhi mujhe jaan chidakte the,unhe main dinbar Pareshan thi aur voh bhi mere har tantrum ko bardash karlete.. He loved me enough to take all my punishments on his head..

Papa ka pyaar aur bhai ki mujhpe jaan chidakna bas my life never saw hardships till there..Every thing was perfect like in tales..
It was My 16th Birthday..
Every year we celebrate my birthday like a grand festival of the year..
But since last 2 years paa asual was abroad with his agency and bhai was undergoing Army training so he was far away from home these 2 years..
Every bday bhai bakes cake for me and until he doesn't apply on my face and click my irritated pictures,I also don't feel its like its my b-day.
This year though I had zero hopes that karthik will come,I was a bit sad but also happy and proud that my brother was serving the nation..I would proudly boast up to my friends my brother is an Lieutenant In army and My dad was a Major by that time, Karthik always wanted follow dad' s footsteps and now he fitted into dad' s shoes I was very happy for him.
But my brother being the best in the world would never let me down that too on my bday, Karthik came just for the word he gave me that he will be there this year at any cost on my special day..
My happiness was on peaks by his presence ,I was enjoying my birthday after ages like the old times..
We planned to go a trip as we were almost ready and paa was gonna join us..
Just then A call came on our landline..
"Choti ...Maa...Woh papa ek bahut hi dangerous mission pe hai mujhe jaana hoga,unhe mere help ki zarurat padh Sakti hai.."
"Bhai u had just joined aur bhi senior cadates honge who are well trained..Aapko risk nahi karna chahiye kudhko.."
Karthik-Choti when I wore this uniform naa tab hi maine mind ko train karliye tha to face any challenge.I can sacrifice my soul,heart and My life for my country.
I wiped away her tears, packed his luggage , and told my self‘Country needs him more than me. I’m his strength, I can’t bid him good bye with teary eyes’.
Karthik-Choti Take care and Happy Birthday.Apna maa ka aur papa ka khayal rakhna ,zyada pareshan mat karna kisiko.. He gave me bidding kiss, and waved a good bye. I stood there until his Army jeep disappeared.
Karthik reported back to his post and was promoted to Acting Captain. Major Manish Kashyap briefed all the officers about latest infiltrations across the border. My brother along with his team of some 15 soldiers went towards to the brother as patrolling team RAW while the rest of the battalion formed ambush team. RAW witnessed massive intrusion under the influence of fierce firing from the border. Around 40-50 militants were trying to enter India and travelled almost inside the territory. Karthik closely monitored the militants and informed the base camp. He was ordered to stop intrusion into the valley, or else intruders could captivate the surrounding terrains and might destroy Everyone. He chose to attack with all his force and the first part of assault was successful and few militants were gunned down. Just then camp siren signaled the approaching trouble. Bhai rushed out and found out the militant attack on the camp. They immediately took their positions. Both the sides were engaged in some fierce firing. He took the charge and attacked the militant group but suddenly militants threw a hand grenade towards him.He started firing again and soon militants targeted him, when suddenly a bullet hit him in shoulder but this didn’t deter him from assaulting the intruders. He was continuously assaulting when suddenly another officer was hit in chest. Karthik immediately rushed towards the officer but as soon as he reached there, he was also hit with a bullet in chest. He dragged the other officer with his remaining power and also gunned down a militant in the process. Paa ran towards Karthik. He was lying in the pool of blood,Paa took him to a safe place. ‘ This life was for my motherland and I somehow managed to save her pride.And Im happy to be ur son dad home I saved Ur pride'This was his last words to my dad.

Riya was terribly crying remembering that...
Ranvir hugged her extinguishing the fire inside him hearing that..
"One phone call changed our lives,I never knew that was the last time I was seeing my brother,the last time he kissed on my forehead the last time I was myself.. .."She cried out choking..
Riya-Now,you get it why I hate Army and my dad so much.. My dad had controls he could have kept my brother out of this,he could have saved him but he didn't... He was just a major not my father since then..His country is his priority not us.. If he has to choose between me and his duty he would chose the obvious never me!! (She yelled)
Ranvir was shocked and So was the person standing behind them..
