I ran inside, grabbed my little sister Delia, and started tickling her.

I run upstairs to my bedroom, ditching Delia on living room floor laughing still.

"We have guests coming over so dress nice please!" my mom screamed from down stairs.

I put on a strapless, blue with white polka dots, dress on. I also slipped on some black toms. And for a final touch I put my hair in a right side braid.

I didn't have time to put on makeup because the doorbell rang while I was doing my hair.

I walked down the stairs to find Matthew with his mouth opened. Everyone was staring at me. I don't think I ever got this much attention before.

We all sat down at the table while Delia ran into the living room with her salad.

My mom brought in chicken, salad, and mixed vegetables. So much for a big dinner.

Matthews dad pointed to me. "I feel so rude, I don't even know your name!"

"My name is Kayla sir." I smiled.

"Makayla..." my mom gave me a glare.

"So Kayla.. how old are you?" he smiled.

"17, I'm a juni-" I was interrupted by my mom.

"Why don't you start the dishes dear?"

She gave me a fake smile.

"I'll help too" Matthew started grabbing plates off the table.

I just went along with it because I could use all the help I could get.

I washed and he dried. We did small talk, nothing to exciting .

"You still haven't read that note." he looked serious.

"I totally forgot about that, I'm sorry" I winked at him.

"And how did you know" I have him a glare.

"If you read the note then you would know how I know" we both laughed.

After we finished the dishes Matthew had to go. We all hugged good bye, but Matt's hug felt warmer and more secure. It felt amazing.

I hugged Delia good night and put on my fluffiest pajama pants, which had a nick of flamingos on them, and a white tank top.

I finally looked at Matt's note. It had his phone number on it. I smiled and blushed at the sight of it.

I grabbed my phone off of my night stand and sat at my desk texting Matt.

Me: Hey Matthew, it's Kayla.(:

Matthew: Come outside.

Me: wtf! Matthew it's 10 o'clock pm.

Matthew: just do it.

Me: Be out there in a bit.

Matthew: you won't regret this.

You won't regret this.

I put on my white converse and ran out side before my parents could catch me.

When I looked up I saw Matthew holding a rose for me. I grabbed it a set it on the front step.

"H-hey" he looked down at the ground.

"Hey, what's so important which made me come outside?" I could feel my self clutching onto my pants because my hand I was sweating.

"I have a important question.." He was playing with his fingers.
