The gulls called out to each other as the ocean was bringing the tide back in. The splash of the waves could be heard from all along beach. The sun shined down on the happy couple. They held hands and frolicked around in the sand.
It was the perfect day for a walk.
The two made their way down the beach with no idea as to where they were going or when they would get back. Purely just enjoying the moment.
In the distance a group of young teenage girls were hanging out. Tanning, gossiping, the usual. Also enjoying a day in this beautiful weather. The young couple were approaching them quickly. And some of the girls took notice.
"Aw, look at them. They look so happy," one girl pointed out to the others. They all were looking at the couple now.
"I'm so jealous."
"I want a boyfriend."
One of the girls began humming the tune to "Where Do I Begin?" from the movie Love Story. Suddenly they all broke out into the song. Not in tune but it didn't matter.
"With her first hello
She gave new meaning to this empty world of mine

She fills my heart"
The couple heard the singing and searched around to see where it was coming from. They watched in slight awe as the girls were almost serenading them.
"She fills my heart with very special things
With angels' songs, with wild imaginings

With her around, who could be lonely
I reach for her hand, it's always there"
Filled with joy the young woman kisses the man, who smiles into it. The girls squeal with excitement. They were all envious of the couple's love.
It was a romantic moment. One they wouldn't forget.
