Chapter 3

Y/N's POV:

"Y/n calm down" Kevin said as I threw my pencil at him which he dodged

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. I wasn't pissed I was just annoyed

"It was so last minute they reached out to me. I was so excited I couldn't stop talking about it" he said "plus I called you like five times and you didn't answer" he said

"I was working" I said

"Yea well are you able to play or not?" He asked

"Yea of course" I said obviously but frustrated

"Good" he said "I knew you wouldn't let me down"

"I-uh I'm having a guest come if that's okay" I said

"A guest?" He stared at me "You never bring anyone"

"Yea I know" I said

"Who is it?" He asked intrigued

"Um this girl" I said

"Oh really?" He asked "and who is this girl? Is she pretty?"

"Beautiful" I muttered with an unknown smile

"Is someone trying to get a girlfriend?" He asked and I scoffed

"Please she has a boyfriend" I said rolling my eyes "at least I think she does"

"That's never stopped me before" he said reminding me of the plenty of "straight" guys he's been with even though they had girlfriends

"And well she's not just any girl" I said

"Yea I get it y/n, she's special to you, she's not like any other girl-" he said listing off cliches

"No I'm serious" I said "have you ever heard of Camila Cabello?" I asked him

"I've heard the name" he said

"Have you heard that Havana song" I asked and he nodded

"that song plays everywhere" he added

"Well it's her. She's the girl I invited" I said

"Hold on-" he said "how did you meet a famous person? He asked

"She comes into the shop like everyday, I talk to her, she talks to me" I said

"You're like the shyest person I know, all of a sudden you're talking to a celebrity" he asked

"I know it's weird to me too" I said laughing lightly "but she makes me feel really at peace, calm, like everything is alright with her" I said

"And you've known her how long?" He asked

"Just a few weeks. Yea I know it's crazy. But I'm serious" I said

"Seems to me like you're catching feelings. Fast" he said

"No she has a boyfriend. I want to respect that. Besides I'd never have a chance like that with her" I said

"Hey you never know. When I first started talking to jaden I thought this cute white boy would never be interested in me, yet we're almost a year now" he said and I smiled

"I don't know. To think of something more with her is just a reach. I'm fine. I'd just like her in my life" I said

"Hmm well I'll be the judge of that when I see her" he said "actually let's look her up" he added "Have you yet?"

"No. I haven't actually" I said

"Have a seat" he said scooting over on his couch grabbing his laptop
