Chapter 43

Narrators POV:

Y/n nervously tapped her foot up and down as it was currently 5:30 pm getting that much closer to 7

Tonight was Sabrina's album release concert. It was the biggest venue Y/n was ever going to play at

It was still a theater nothing too big like an arena but the only shows she had ever played with Kevin or anyone else were smaller venues than this

This was double the size and she was scared to have so many eyes on her and scared she would mess up Sabrina's special night

The album officially released last night at midnight and so far it was getting great recognition and reviews. The people were really enjoying the blonde girls new sound. No longer was she was the Disney channel girl making kid friendly music, she was an actual adult writing music from her adult experiences

Y/n coming in to work with her on the album was a blessing in disguise for the blonde. Y/n gave her real thoughts on what sounded good and what didn't

Not only that but they both grew up with very similar music tastes so they tended to like the same things and got each other so easily. Which made working together so fun and effortless

Y/n encouraged her to take risks that she was too afraid to at first but Y/n saw some potential in her that she could be more and taken seriously as an artist and break out of her ex disney star look

And so she did, and it was working.
The guitarist was right.

Not only was this Y/n's biggest audience but it was also a foreign one for her. She was used to cool hipsters, alternative indie kids, and rap enthusiasts.

The girl yawned as she had been up since early morning as they kept rehearsing

She also stayed up very late with her girlfriend

They both knew that they had busy days approaching in a few hours but they could not get enough of each other.

The were both paying the price of their actions, y/n yawning constantly during rehearsals and Camila falling asleep in between her takes for her photoshoot

The two texted each other throughout the day laughing about how tired they were

Y/n's Dad was leaving tomorrow morning so the couple promised to just nap all day long together. They agreed to no sex because they were that exhausted but you never know with those two

Y/n waited for the time to go by, she walked around the backstage area back and fourth, went to get some snacks from catering and talked with the band and Sabrina's friends

Kevin was also backstage, he helped calm his friends nerves reassuring her that she was going to do amazing

All of Y/n's friends were here. They came to support, they were in the VIP area per Y/n's guest list

Y/n was currently talking to the other band members and she felt someone cover her eyes

She was completely taken by surprise not knowing who it could be

"Guess who?" The voice she loved to hear the most said

She quickly turned around and saw Camila making her smile wide and get excited

"You're here?" Y/n asked completely shocked

"I'm here. Of course I had to see you" she said happily hugging her girlfriend
