I opened my eyes slowly after what felt like a deep sleep to see a blanket of darkness that seemed to go on forever. While I looked around to observe my surroundings it quickly became useless as there was nothingness within the darkness. I could not even tell if there was going to be light or if there had ever been light.
Since I could not see I tried to feel my surroundings instead, but once again there was nothing. I don't really know if I felt anything if I'm being honest because I can't even feel myself or if I'm moving. I gave up trying to move around as I could tell it was pointless. My body feels weak and quite limp and I feel like I'm quickly falling back to sleep.
Although I could not physically feel anything, I do feel "something" however. This feeling is strange and it comes from within me, but I could not try seek it out as my drowsiness grew stronger. I continued to stay awake through the drowsiness to try and think about my situation more. I tried to remember who I am or what I was doing in this place, but no matter how hard I tried I could only remember small details about myself and about the where I live and such.
I started to get this strange feeling in my heart that I am no longer alive, or maybe that I am no longer dead; I can't really tell. But as my drowsiness grew, I decided there was no point trying to stay awake any longer and shut my eyes. As I drifted off to sleep, I recalled my memories that I could remember.
Just before I lost my consciousness, I could hear a stream of messages that were quietly ringing in my mind when I first awoke, but now were much louder and filling my brain. Although the messages were loud, I was still on the brink of sleep and without noticing it I fell asleep.
