Talia POV
When I woke up, I had drool all over my chin and I was laying on Michael's shoulder.
"You've got a little something," Michael said, wiping my chin for me and chuckling. I rolled my eyes and thanked him as I fixed myself in my seat.
I could see Olivia giving Michael dirty looks from the corner of my eye. I turned my head and looked at Olivia and she quickly turned and faced the window.
"What's up with her?" I whispered to Michael. He looked at her and shrugged.
"Don't worry about it." He said, brushing it off as if it's nothing.
"Are you sure?" I said, becoming concerned. He rolled his eyes at the statement.
"Yes, mother. No need to be concerned." He teased.
Over the loud speaker, we heard the captain say that we are about land, so we fixed our seats and buckled our seat belts again.
Once we landed, Michael grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the seat and ran out of the plane doors. Once we were inside the airport, Awe went and grabbed our luggages at the baggage claim.
We went outside after and hailed a cab and took it to the apartment that Michael and I will be sharing. When we pulled up, we both got out and Michael paid the can driver.
He stood next to me and looked at the building, just like I was and spoke.
"So, this is it?" He said, it sounding more like a question.
"Home sweet home." I replied, looking up at him. He nodded and repeated, "home sweet home," before walking up to the front of the building.
Our parents came a couple weeks before us and set up our apartment for us so we didn't have to worry about stressing out and getting furniture and everything.
They were worried about us getting together, then breaking up and ruining our friendship and making things awkward while we lived together. So, we made a rule that we won't date each other nor date someone the other didn't like or felt comfortable around.
"I'm going to start unpacking and I'm going to take a nap so if you need me, that's what I'm going to be doing." Michael said as he walked into the apartment.
The apartment is big compared to any apartments I have ever seen. It has one master bedroom and one other big bedroom. The master bedroom had a bathroom, a walk in closet and a balcony. The apartment also has a big kitchen and living room.
Michael let me have the master bedroom because I am the girl and he felt like it was only right.
I wheeled my suitcases to my room and started to unpack. I started to get more and more homesick as I opened one of the suitcases that had all of my old memories and pictures and I came across this old, torn, beat up letter that I received when I was 16. I've read it so many times that I've already memorized it already.

Dear my beautiful other half: Talia Lynn Brooks,
Hi baby. How are you? If you're wondering, I'm doing amazing because I'm writing to you. I don't know if you already know this but you are my best friend. Before we became friends, I was constantly feeling like shit and I hated myself. But, then you came into my life, and everything was instantly better. I can not be more thankful for you. I love you more than you will ever know. I will always be here for you whenever you need me and I will always help you, no matter what happens. You are my little sister and it is my job to protect you from anything and thats exactly what I'm going to do for the rest of my life.
I love you more than you will ever know and realize.
Yours truly,
Your big brother and protector: Michael Gordon Clifford.
I didn't even hear or notice Michael come into the not that I was crying until I felt Michael pull me into his arms and started holding me.
"Shhh, baby, everything will be okay. I'm right here." Michael said, soothing me.
I nodded my head and continued to cry. Minutes turned into hours and we were still sitting there. I had stopped crying a while ago but no one moved or said anything.
"You going to tell me why you were crying?" He asked, look down at me.
"Oh, yeah. I just found this letter you gave me back in 11th grade. It just makes me better and it reminds me that you will always be there for me when I need you and Ive never been more thankful to have someone in my life. I love you so much and I don't know what I would do without you." I said before crying again.
"Shhh, it's okay. I love you too. You don't need to thank me. I will always be here for you okay?" He said before kissing my forehead and pulling me closer to him.
"Okay." I answered before I felt my eyelids grow heavy and close, making everything disappear.
Wow this was vv long and I cried while writing the letter. Oops.
I need a life so someone be my friend
K peace bye
