Chapter 9

"Michael, we're already late let's go!" I yelled from the kitchen. ​

It was already the weekend of Tori and Ashton's party and we were running late because Michael decided to take a million years to get ready.

​"Alright! Alright! I'm coming. Don't get your panties in a twist." He said as he smirked at me and I flipped him off. He put his coat on and I grabbed my bag and walked out the door.

​We both climbed into my car and began our way to Tori's place. I have no idea how many people are going to be at this party, but, this week has been so long and stressful and I just want to get drunk.

​Michael began to play with the radio and "Sex" by the 1975 came on and I smiled because it was one of my favorite songs. I made the volume louder and stopped at the stoplight and looked at Michael.

​"And this is how it starts," he begins to sing to me. I smiled and sang back, "You take your shoes off in the back of my van." ​

We were just jamming out and being the stupid people that we really are. These are the moments that I really love because it's only Michael and I. No one else. We have no one to impress and we are just enjoying the time that we spend together.

Michael leaned over the middle console and took a piece of my hair and wrapped it around his finger and whispered, "If we're gonna do anything, we might as well just fuck." I shoved him and he laughed.

​Oh god, do I love that breathless laugh that he does.

​We just continued singing the song and whatever songs came on next until we pulled up to Tori's house. There were cars and people everywhere, I didn't expect this many people to be here.

Michael and I get out of the car and walk into the house. Michael grabs my hand so we don't get separated and we squeeze our way through the crowd of drunk and high people and begin our search for Tori and Ashton.

"Talia!" I hear someone call me from behind. I feel someone grab me from behind, it was Tori.

"Hi!" I said as I turned around and hugged her. "This is Michael. Michael this is Tori." I introduced them to each other. They shook hands and began to talk when a tall, shaggy hair, fit, blonde boy grabbed Tori by the waist and began to kiss her neck.

"Hi, baby. This is my friend Talia and her friend Michael." Tori told the boy and he looked up at us and waved.​

"Hey, I'm Ash- wait, aren't you from my english class?" Ashton asked Michael.

​"Wait, yeah, I didn't even realize the name when she asked me." Michael told Ashton. They branched off into their own conversation and Tori and I walked away and began a conversation of our own.

"Do you want a shot?" Tori asked me and I nodded my head. She took out two shot glasses and began to pour them. She handed me mine and we clinked our glasses together and drank the liquor. We both made weird faces after and then began to laugh.

After, we went and found Michael and Ashton drinking beers and we dragged them out to the dance floor, which was the living room, and made them dance with us.

After about an hour of dancing, Tori wanted me to meet her friend. She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the kitchen where this girl with long brown hair and brown eyes standing there with her phone in one hand and a cup in the other.

"Kylie!" Tori screamed and the girl turned and instantly smiled and ran up to tori.

"Oh my god how are you?" She asked tori as they hugged.

They made small talk that I didn't pay attention to. I started to zone out for a few minutes before I felt someone grab your arm.

"Ky, this is my friend Talia, she is in one of my classes." Tori introduced us. I shook her hand and smiled at her.

"Hi, you're so pretty!" She said and I blushed and thanked her.

We stayed like that for a while and before we went to go look for Michael and Ashton. We didn't realize it but everyone had left the party. The only people left here was Tori, Kylie, Michael, Ashton and I.

Michael and Ashton were sitting on the floor in the living room, sipping on a bottle of vodka that they were sharing.

"Hey baby," Ashton said when he saw Tori walk into the room. "Where have been?" He asked.

"I was talking with the girls in the kitchen." She responded and he nodded his head. We joined them on the floor and we sat in comfortable silence.

Soon the silence was broken when Kylie started to speak.

"Do you guys want to share this blunt?" She asked, looking at all of us.

Tori shrugged her shoulders, Ashton said sure, Michael looked at me and shrugged his shoulders and I said.

She pulled out the blunt and a lighter and lite it. She took a hit before passing it around.

An hour later, the blunt was finished and we were all high. I was laying in Michael's lap while Kylie had her head on my shoulder and Tori was laying on Ashton.

"We should do this every weekend." I said before feeling my eyes shut.

The next morning I wake up in my bed, in only in a long teeshirt.

I slowly roll out of bed and groan at the pounding headache and before I knew it, I was on my knees in front of the toilet bowl, throwing up all the alcohol I consumed last night.

I felt someone come behind me and pull my hair into a bun and then slowly rub my back. It was Michael.

He slowly rubbed my back and kept telling me that it was okay and told me that I will better once everything is out. He then grabbed a washcloth and wet it and got me a cup of water and then got me mouth wash.

Once I was done, he helped me up and handed me my toothbrush and mouthwash and helped clean me help. He walked with me back to my bed and laid me down.

Once he laid me down and tucked me in bed and was about to leave. I grabbed his hand and said, "wait, stay with me."

He pulled the covers back and climbed into bed with me and held me and before we knew it, we were asleep.

I'm so so so so so sorry I haven't updated. I just didn't want to and idk man but yeah. I'm in lunch and I just don't want to be in school.
