i go to this big party tonight, with the vlog squad, where a bunch of youtubers are suppose to be

i hang out with david, kristen, and scott for a while, trying to distance myself from david as much as possible considering that he looks really good today

i'm pulled out of my thoughts as i hear my name being called

i look over and see three guys standing in front of me

"hi, i'm bryce-"

i cut him off, smiling widely "bryce hall, zach clayton, and nick bean"

they all nod with wide eyes

"hey, it's badzach to you, cutie" zach says, making me laugh

i see red solo cups in their hands, making me smirk

"are you two drinking underage?" i ask, raising my eyebrow

their faces flush

"no-no, it's uh apple juice" zach says

"yeah, apple juice" bryce adds

i take the cup out of bryce's hand, taking a sip before handing it back to him

"nah, that's beer, but i won't tell" i say, laughing

they laugh as well

"oh wait, does that mean that jordyn and jordan are here?" i ask, excitedly

"uh yeah, why?" nick asks

i hear kristen laugh behind me "she's obsessed with them"

"shut up" i say, playfully hitting her arm

she just laughs louder

"they're over there" bryce says, pointing to the corner of the room

i excitedly grab david's hand, grabbing his attention, when i see them

he laughs as we walk over

"um hi, i'm y/n" i say, awkwardly

jordyn's eyes light up "oh my god, i know who you are. holy shit, you are my favorite youtuber" she says, excitedly pulling me into a big hug

i laugh, hugging her back

"oh my god, david, my favorite youtuber" jordan says, mimicking his girlfriend, making us all laugh

"why did you come over to us? we're like nobody's" jordyn says, laughing lightly

i blush wildly as david laughs loudly

"you two are her favorite youtube couple and she pines over you guys all the time" david says, completely embarrassing me

"no way, that's crazy because all jordyn talks about is wishing that you two were together so that you could be her favorite power duo" jordan says, laughing as jordyn's face gets red

david's and my face also turning red

"no, for real though, you two would be amazing together" jordyn says, her face going back to it's normal color

i walk off, into the crowd, hoping to get away from that awkward conversation

i feel bad after doing so, but i'll apologize to them later on instagram or whatever

when i finally reach the outside, i actually smile, as the cool air hits my warm face

"y/n, are you okay?" a familiar voice asks, seconds later

i don't have to turn around to know who it is "i'm fine, david"

"look i'm sorry about what i said. i-" i cut him off

"it's fine, i just need a breather"

"yeah, me too"

i spin around on my heels, looking at him "no, david, i need a breather from you"

his eyes widen as the information sinks in "oh-i-i'm sorry for whatever i did. i really-truly am"

my heart thumps loudly in my chest "it's not what you did. it's just what i can't have"

"a relationship like jordyn and jordan?" he asks, raising an eyebrow, trying his best to understand

"no" i say shaking my head, looking at me feet

"then what? what could you possibly want that you don't already have or you can't easily get?" he asks, getting frustrated

my eyes flicker up to his brown ones "you"

his eyes grow wide, almost popping out of his head, as his mouth hangs open

it feels as if my cheeks are on fire as i refuse to look anywhere but at the ground as i nervously play with my fingers

"i want you too" he says, so quietly, i almost didn't hear it "i've always wanted you"

my eyes flicker up to his as a small smile forms on both of our faces before engulfing each other in a bear hug

"watching you flirt with those guys was torture" david mumbles

i pull away to look at his face, a small smile on my lips "looking at you all night was torture. do you know how good you look right now?"

his cheeks flush, almost matching the color of his red 'clickbait' sweatshirt

i laugh, reaching up on my tippy toes to kiss his cheek

"i should probably go and apologize now" i say

"probably, but not now. i want to relish in this moment a little while longer"

i smile, burying my face into his chest as we both stand there, arms locked around each others, slightly swaying to the faint sound of music from the party that is going on inside
