i've known mariah amato for a while and when she started dating heath hussar, i immediately liked his humor and his kindness

so naturally we became close friends

i've only ever met two of their friends, zane and matt, but i keep up with all their videos

i know everyone's names and get an idea of what they are like, but i've never actually met a good chunk of them

and apparently that's what we're doing today

"okay, he's blindfolded, quietly walk in" heath whispers into the phone as mariah and i walk into david's house

"heath what are you doing?" david asks, timidly

"nothin dave. just hang tight" heath says, motioning for me to come closer

i do, standing next to him

"okay dave, who's one person that you've always wanted to meet? who you always talk about and who happens to be your celebrity crush?"

his cheeks heat up "you're going to make me say it. aren't you?"

"of course"

"did you seriously blindfold me just to embarrass me?"

"maybe. now answer the question"

"y/n y/l/n" david says, quietly

"that's right and explain to the people who she is" heath says, before whispering directions to me

"she's a really famous and talented actor who is apart of the avengers. she was recently in the venom movie that like just came out and it was amazing"

i blush wildly as i do what heath told me to do

i slowly walk over to david who's nervously playing with his fingers, sitting tensely on the couch, leaning forward slightly

"okay dave, now sit up straight" heath says

"no, no, no" david says, freaking out

"it won't hurt you. i promise"

"it?" david questions, as he slowly sits up straight

heath nods, signaling for me to continue

i stand in front of david, wrapping my arms around him, pulling him into a hug

"hey david" i whisper in his ear before taking off his blindfold, throwing it on the couch next to us

his eyes widen as i loosely leave my arms around his neck 

"holy shit. it's you"

i nod, laughing

he stands up, pulling me into a proper hug, making heath and mariah laugh

"i can't believe you're here" he says when we pull away from the hug

"i'm excited that i'm here. your house is beautiful"
