new car and- {david}

i have no clue where i'm at, as there's a blindfold covering my eyes, and my crazy boyfriend somewhere near by

i jump slightly when i feel his arms wrap around me from behind, his laugh following

i smile as i lean my head back onto his chest

"so baby, you're probably wondering why you are standing here, blindfolded" he starts

i nod "i am"

"you know that i love you with all my heart"

i smile "i do"

"and that these past four years have been the best years of my life"

my smile widens "i'd hope so"

we both laugh

"okay baby, take off your blindfold"

i pop the bandana off my head, gasping when i see my dream car sitting in front of me

i look at david "you didn't"

he smiles, putting the keys in my hand "i did"

i look down at the keys, speechless, before looking back up at him "i can't accept this"

"yes, you can"

"no i-"

he cuts me off, placing a hand on my cheek, looking into my eyes "it's not returnable and you'll hurt my feelings if you don't accept it"

i sigh "fine, you win"

he smiles widely as i can't help but smile back, leaning up to kiss his lips

he dips his head, deepening the kiss as my hands play with the ends of his hair

when we pull away, he rests his forehead against mine

"i love you so fucking much" i whisper

he smiles "i love you so fucking much too"

a moment passes before he says "let's show this off"

i giggle, running to the driver's side as he hops in the passengers seat, zane hopping in the back, still recording for david's vlog

david texts the group chat and tells everyone to come over

a while later, every has finally showed up

david tells them to wait outside as i run into the house and to the garage, opening the garage door as i back out

i park the car as everyone excitedly checks it out, making comments about how they love it and such

"i have one more surprise for you, y/n" david says to me

everyone quiets down, watching intently

he holds my hands, looking deep into my eyes

"i pondered about where to do this for the longest time, but i figured it didn't really matter where as long as we were surrounded by the people we love"

i smile, not knowing what's about to happen

he lets go of my hands, pulling something out of his back pocket before dropping down to one knee

my hands cover my mouth as he opens the small black box, revealing a gorgeous diamond ring

a smile appears on his face as he starts "i asked your dad a few month ago for permission and i was surprised about how quickly he said yes"

i smile as he continues

"it's no secret that i love you with every ounce of my being. you've been the only thing in my life that's been worth living for and i can't imagine a world without you. i've made so many amazing memories with you, these past four years and i can't wait to make many, many more. i want to spend the rest of my life with you" he pauses "y/n y/l/n, will you marry me?"

"yes" i say, tears streaming down my cheeks as he slips the ring on my finger before standing up, pulling me into a heart racing kiss

i wrap my arms around his neck as he lifts me off the ground, our lips still connected

everyone is cheering as we pull away and he sets me back on the ground

david and i are smothered in hugs and love by all of our friends before we all head inside to hang out like usual

as everyone is involved in their own conversations, i slightly pull away from david's side, looking up at him as he looks down at me

"i can't believe i'm engaged" i whisper

he smiles "well, believe it baby. you're all mine"

i giggle, kissing his cheek "i love you"

"i love you too" he says, pressing a kiss to my forehead, making me smile even wider

a brand new car and a fiance, all in one day
