drunk {zane}

we're all just hanging out at david's house, having a few drinks and enjoying each other's company

and as per usual, david is vlogging us to get some good content for his videos

"y/n, have a drink" zane says, stumbling towards me with a glass of vodka in his hand

i smile, shaking my head "i'm okay with my water, zane. but thank you anyways"

he sighs before plopping on the couch next to me

"why are you always so nice?" he asks, before burping

i giggle "it's easier to be nice and happy all the time than hateful and sad"

he nods, lost in thought

my attention turns towards mariah and kristen as they ask me if i want to join them on wednesday

i agree and we start discussing our plans for that day

mid conversation, i gasp, feeling cold liquid seep onto my thigh

i look down at the wet spot on my jeans, confused as to what could've spilled

"oh my god, i'm so sorry" a drunk zane says "i'm sorry y/n. i'm really-"

i cut him off, placing a hand on his shoulder, giving him a warm smile "it's okay zane, really"

he smiles before resting his head on my shoulder "i'm tired"

i giggle "then you can rest"

he nods, wrapping his arm around my waist as i wrap my arm around his back, resting my hand on his side

i look to my left, continuing the conversation with the girls

a few minutes later, we are talking about random things now, when we hear david

"where's zane? he's got to be drunk by now"

the girls burst out laughing, catching his attention as he walks over, his vlog camera in hand

"what? where is he?" he asks, pointing the camera at them

they laugh harder, pointing to me

david looks at me, confused before realization covers his face when he sees a sleeping zane laying on me

"aww so cute" david says, bring the camera closer to me

i playfully roll my eyes "yeah, so cute after he spilled vodka on my new jeans"

david laughs loudly, causing zane to wake up

he leans off of me, yawning

"did that nap sober you up some?" david asks, laughing

zane shakes his head "it made me want more drinks"

david laughs before walking away, zane following him, chanting 'drinks. drinks'
