calum walked out of his apartments lobby and into the evening drizzle with his keys, his confidence and his favourite black converse. he walked around the block to the old bike shoppe and rented a bike for seven hours. usually he'd take his car, but he decided he wanted to find her with a different approach.

he road the bike around the park, absentmindedly for a while and it felt almost relaxing to him. that was, until he ran into someone else.

the person he hit (a girl) was laughing wildly. calum (the lonely one) store at her confusedly. he expected to be yelled at but this was okay. he liked this, too. in fact, he liked her.

he liked how her nose crinkled. how her head tilted back slightly as she laughed. how the blood trickled down her knee yet she felt no remorse. just happiness.

"hey, you okay there?"

calum smiled at the sound of her voice. her beautiful voice. god, this had to be. it just had to be.

"yeah." calum blinked slowly as her store at her. trying to take in all her beauty. "you okay?"

"oh yeah. that's nothing." she replied quickly before swiping the blood off her knee with her thumb and smearing it on the ground.

calum was the first to stand up, extending his hand out to her. she gladly took it and hoisted herself up with a little help from calum. then she grabbed his face and she kissed him.

their kiss was so intimate and passion filled, you couldn't tell where he ended and she begun. yeah, this had to be her. this was the girl.

she giggled and smiled up at calum before gripping his hand. "c'mon."

"what? but the bikes." he didn't really care about the bikes he just wanted to make sure this was real. this couldn't be real.

"forget about the bikes. come with me, okay?"

he watched her. he analyzed every aspect of just her and he'd made his decision.

"okay."
