In the year 1988, Busan was one of the country's largest points of import for cocaine and heroin. The mafia controlled most of it, but you still had the other gangs that all wanted their cut. The current boss of the city was doing a well enough job at keeping things in order, but that was about to change.
She was the epitome of innocence, a pure soul that got dragged in to a world where she didn't belong. Angelic voice, pink cheeks and eyes shimmering like stardust. A go go dancer, the most famous one in Busan. Naive and almost too eager to earn the money that she needed to pay off the medical debts that her mother left her.
He was selfish, he got bored easily and he had access to a lot of cash. Him and his twin brother both did. They were the new, young blood between the gangsters of Busan. The oldest of the twins just inherited his father's casino and they had big plans to take over the city. She was supposed to stay by his side, play a role in his game, let him use her as a pawn and watch the money pile up in front of her, but things started to go wrong when she developed an infatuation with the other brother.
Rules, morality, integrity - all of that got thrown out the window and Busan got taken by a storm.
