Journey

Be my company in this new journey,

And please don’t leave me waiting.

You have my heart now, don’t break it

Now that you’ve put yours in my keeping

The pasts that have hurt us both are gone.

The future that will heal us has come.

I shall fulfill my promise, beloved

Of always making you feel loved.

Useless when people question our sanity;

We are far beyond earthly vanities.

We will prove it when we meet,

And destination will be at my feet.
