I am four years old. Mommy and I are colouring. She's so pretty. She's colouring a rainbow. I'm colouring a puppy.
I want a puppy. Mommy says that we don't have enough time for one. She's so busy with her work. And I get to go to school soon.
I'm excited for school. Maybe I can bring my puppy picture to school with me.
Mommy finishes her rainbow and smiles at me.
"What a cute puppy," she says.
I colour the nose pink. "Thank you, mommy," I say. I get up and walk around the table and give her a tight hug. "I love you."
She kisses my head and rubs my back. "I love you, pumpkin."
