The Contract

Settling In

Yoongi's POV

Life couldn't stop just because he was married. Now that his career was, at least temporarily, safe Yoongi resumed his rigorous practice and training schedule at the boys' apartment and BigHit's office. He felt bad about leaving her alone most of the time but burying himself in music gave him emotional relief and he hated seeing the people coming in and out of their apartment. Everything else in his life rubbed his hopeless situation in his face, except being in his studio and with his members.

Hoseok was thoughtful though and a couple days later he suggested (i.e. insisted) that Yoongi and he take her shopping.

"She probably doesn't have that many clothes. How's she supposed to get out and buy stuff?" He had a point.

They went back to Yoongi's apartment after practice to find Y/N in the middle of Korean lessons and looking like she hated every moment.

"You want to shopping go?" Hoseok asked her in English.

"We're in the middle of our lesson." The tutor said peevishly.

"Ah, well that doesn't matter." Hoseok flashed her a smile and looked at Y/N again.

"Shopping? You come shopping?" She looked at Yoongi and he tried to give her an encouraging smile.

"Neh." She stood up and walked to the bathroom, reappearing a few moments later with her purse.

"Ah, no." Hoseok motioned for her to put the purse down. She looked confused. "I pay, I pay."

"I can't let you..."

"Shhh...quiet." He laughed and took her purse away. Yoongi felt like he was having a little too much fun with this. The tutor glared at them and he glared back. He didn't like her. He didn't like how she treated Y/N. If anything, he knew she was just making it harder to learn the language. Hoseok held his arm out, took Y/N's hand, and placed it in the crook of his elbow. "Let's go shopping my...uh...my beautiful friend-uh." Yoongi knew he was trying to make her feel at ease and cheer them both up.

"Let's go." Anything to get away from that tutor.
