A fair haired lady stood in the rain, holding a black umbrella. Slowly she reached a hand out to feel the soft tickle of the drops as they fell onto her skin.
She wondered where he was, if he was having a good time, how he was coping. Despite his flaws, she loved him.
Her green eyes darted towards the sound of laughter, coming from two small children dancing and playing in the rain. She smiled, thinking of her own son.
Suddenly the two little children ran past through her as if she wasn't there at all. She felt invisible - probably because she was.
