"I better be off, it was nice meeting you!"
Ladybug flew off and within seconds was out of sight
"Well that was strange" said Emilie
But Gabriel was looking at his son, who had gone bright red.
"Son, I think we need a family meeting"
Marinette de transformed and flopped onto her bed.
"Tikki is Adrien really Chatnoir?"
"I shouldn't say"
"I'll take that as a yes then"
"Marinette I know this is a shock but..."
"I can't believe it." Marinette stood up and began to dance around her room. "This is amazing!" Then the clumsy girl tripped and landed with a thump.
Her parents came running to her room
"Marinette are you ok?"
"I'm fine papa I just tripped that's all"
Marinette got up and said goodnight to her parents then went to bed, but she couldn't sleep. Instead she pulled out a sketch pad and started designing another dress for Emilie, that lady was like an angel.
The Agreste family sat together, all looking worried.
"Son, I think we both need to confess"
"Confess?"
"Gabriel, what's wrong?"
"I know you are chatnoir Adrien."
Adrien gasped. "But h-how?
"Because of your ring, and when I encountered chatnoir he reminded me of your mother"
Emile reached over to hug Adrien.
"There's something else I have to do Adrien. Gabriel reached into his pocket for something and placed a broach into Adrien's hand.
"What-what is this?"
"I'm sorry son. I have seen sense now and I was stupid, please forgive me - or at least give this back to the miraculous holder."
"You-you were Hawkmoth! YOU PUT ME AND LADYBUG IN DANGER ALL THE TIME!"
"Son I only just realised that you were Chatnoir, if I'd known.."
"I can't believe it. Why did you do it, you put people in danger"
"I DID IT FOR US. I WANTED THE ABSOLUTE POWER SO THAT I COULD GET YOUR MOTHER BACK. trust me Adrien I was going to stop being Hawkmoth but then Nathalie encouraged me to keep on going"
Emilie looked at Gabriel. "So. This Nathalie knew you were being evil but didn't try to stop you?" She raised an eyebrow
"No. She didn't stop me."
"So you did this all for me? I never asked for you to be evil Gabriel, never!"
"I'm so sorry, I was just desperate to make up for my mistakes, but instead I just made things even worse. I'm a failure, I wasn't there for my son when he needed me and I chose the wrong option.
"Oh Gabriel." The fashion designer burst into tears and Emilie hugged him tightly, "Don't worry, at least you've confessed now"
Adrien have his father a cold look. "I'm going out, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!"
Adrien ran off and ignored his parents shouting after him
"Claws out!"
Chatnoir flew out of the window and began to run. He needed to clear his head, he needed to talk to Ladybug.
Marinette was strolling down the street. It was rather icy and more cars than usual were skidding about on the roads. She decided that her walk should come to an end, so she turned to go home but unexpectedly lost her balance and slipped down into the sheet of ice beneath her feet.
If all happened so fast. She scrabbled up to try and get out of the way, the headlights were coming straight at her and the car was trying its best to break.
Then there was a flash of black. She opened her eyes. Chatnoir was there, he must have saved her.
"Chat! What's wrong you're in tears?"
Chat flew over back to Marinette's balcony and lifted her down from his arms
"Are you ok Marinette?"
"I'm fine, just shaken, it's rather icy tonight, you don't think hawkmoth has akumatized Frozer do you?"
"Marinette. You were right"
"About what?"
"Gabriel Agreste is hawkmoth. Which means, my father lied to me."
"WHAT?!"
"He just confessed, to me, to my mother"
"Oh wow. Adrien, so what happens now?"
"He gave me the miraculous, to give to master Fu. I was coming to show you when I saw you about to be hit by that car, so I panicked and dropped the box to go and help you. I'm sorry m'lady"
"It's not your fault Chat, you saved my life, and we'll get it back I promise, let's go and search for it now, and if we ant find it we'll have to go straight to master fu and tell him everything"
A brown haired girl in a long black dress walked along the street path. She stopped to pick up the black box on the floor in front of her. It had some type of red patterning on top and out of curiosity she opened it.
A flash of purple light appeared before the girl's hazel eyes and she gasped.
"Hello master h-... you're not my master?"
"What are you?"
"I am Nooroo, the butterfly miraculous"
