Did i hear right?

"Yeah, i like you too"
i answered.
he had a wide smile on his face.
It was cute. Actually.
He grabbed my hand.
"You do?"
Wait. Whats going on.
"Yeah...OH dont get me wrong"
The look on his face changed.
"What do you mean?"
"What i mean is,youre the best person one can have in their lives. I mean,i went through many things after the incident. And you helped me. I dont want you to go through things because of me"
He lets go of my hand.
"Did you just-"

I cupped his face and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"Dont unfriend me. Please"
He took a deep breath,again.
"Fine. This is not a rejection right?"
"No. This is way better"
I grabbed his hand instead.
"Lets go. I need to go to the lecture. Im late"
We walked together and swayed our hands still in hold.
I hope everybody else in the campus doesnt get the wrong idea.

Both of us (Mark and me) finished our lecture at the same time but for some odd reason,i didnt see him outside the hall. But instead,i see Taeyong.
I ignored him,of course.
But i ended up being caught.
"Sungmi,please. Dont ignore me"
He blocked the pathway.
"Move. Fuck you and your girlfriend. Are you begging for mercy?"
"Nah,thats silly for someone like me"
Taeyong smirked.
I just rolled my eyes.
I was thinking of a plan to escape.
"Here"
He passed me a plastic bag. The bag has something printed on it.
The pharmacy?
"Take it"

I just pulled it out of his hold.
I opened the bag and looked whats in it. Is he really doing this?
"What is this?"
"Medication. For my child"
Hmm...this is so fishy.
"Take it back"
"What? Why?"
"How do i know its not poison?"
he laughed.
"I didnt pay 54 dollars for the baby to be miscarriaged"
I kicked his foot which is hard enough to let out an "ow" from his mouth.
"Dont say that shit in public. Honestly, dont say that word at all"
"Okay,okay chill"
"Hm. yea sure"

"Hey,where are you just now?"
Hyerie asked me as i entered the dorm.
"Im at the lecture"
Hyerie got a leave today for the competition (dancing).
"What's that?"
" 'that'?"
"That bag"
"Oh this?"
"Yeah"
"Taeyong gave me medication".

"Hmm...what a responsible hUsbAnD"

"Dont say that word...please"
"Nah,im just kidding"
I placed the bag on the table and head to my room.

It was a notification from my phone.
It was from Taeyong.

Taeyong-
Did you check the medicines?
Check it first.

I left a seen but i didnt answer him.
I went back to the table and checked the medicines.
"2 pills,3 times a day for the one in the bottle and 3 pills,2 times a day for the one in the blue box. The one in the purple box is just some vitamins you need to take regularly"
Hyerie explained ablut the medications.
"You checked?"
"Yea,i did. Its almost dinner so eat all three after dinner"
I jumped to Hyerie and hugged her.
"Thank you. Thank youuu"
"Im a medic student as well,Sungmi. Why not become part-time pharmacist while youre carrying that,"
"Lets make dinner. Im starving"

"My mom actually got pregnant your age. She didnt marry yet. Because of that,she did not focus on studying but instead care for the baby bump,me. She didnt get the results she expected,of course but thank god she found a man willing to marry a single parent. Im trying to help you as much as i can so that you dont end up like that"
I backhugged her.
"Youre not 'trying'. Youre doing your best"

"Ill get the door"
Hyerie headed to the door.
"Ill take out the ingredients . Lets cook spaghetti today"
