Chapter 4

I can hear them, they're all a bunch of idiots. I giggle and Rulen looks over at me.

"What is your deal? You are fucking crazy, why are you laughing?"

"Because, Caleb is gonna kick your ass again."

Rulen got mad and put his hand on my side. Forcing his finger in the hole on my side from earlier and I yell and groan in pain. He pulls his finger out and smiles.

"Whoops, my fingers slipped. Now shut up."

"How are you going to ask me a question, then not like my answer and hurt me. Pfft, no wonder you are single."

"Do you need another hole in your body bitch?"

"Bite me." I laugh and he grabs the stake from earlier and shoves it in my thigh. I bite my lip to secure a scream and end up making my lip bleed. I sit there. Sweating and pale.

Rulen gets up and grabs the bat by the door. He closes it behind him and locks it. He wasn't going to kill me, he liked me too much. From what Caleb has told me in the past, he used to have a crush. He's such a creep. I lean forwards a bit and wince then whine. My hands shaking as I pull the stake out of my thigh. Blood gushing everywhere.

"W-What a psycho."

Caleb and Xios meet up. He thought he could show Caleb what he found. The boy follows Xios and points to the bathrooms.

"Dude, you really think she would be in there?"

"The fact that you don't think so Caleb, proves my point. By the way this Ru guy sounds? He would wanna take her somewhere that none of you would think of. But he doesn't know me cause I am kinda new."

"Right, so, I doubt it's going to be unlocked. What can we do to get in?"

"Well, since my hair is kinda long, I always have bobby pins on me. If you keep watch out, I can unlock the door and w-" He was cut off by Caleb pulling him back. He saw Rulen walking out of the bathroom and locking the door behind him. Walking in the opposite direction to do a quick perimeter sweep.

"My point has been proven."

"Xios, you are a genius my friend. Let's go!"

They boys nod and get to work. Xios unlocking the door and Caleb watching guard. Caleb and Xios stopped once they heard me wince and whine. Caleb looked back at Xios.

"Dude, get it done faster." Xios, nodded his head and got the door unlocked.

"I will grab her, you keep look out." Caleb nodded and Xios went in. He saw all the blood and almost puked. I looked up at him. Bags under my eyes and sweat plastered to my face.

"S-Such a wuss..." I smiled and he looked down at me.

"You look like shit."

"Thanks, I try."

Xios chuckled and reached down. He picked me up and looked at my thigh.

"What the hell? When did that happen? Last time I saw, it was in your side....Which is also bleeding. How are you still alive?"

"Rulen is just an ass. Please, take me home."

Xios walked out of the bathroom and Caleb looked over at me. He covered his mouth and his eyes were watery. He couldn't believe it.

"Babe, you look like shit."

I smile and bow my head a little. "Th-Thanks, I tr-" I start coughing, blood everywhere.

"She wants to go home? But I suggest a hospital?"

"Nah man, she doesn't like hospitals. I am sure Fluffy's boyfriend can patch her up. He works in a hospital. Let's get going before Rulen comes back though."

Both boys nod and run down the stairs. Meeting up with everyone. Everyone repeating that I look like shit.

"M-Man, you guys a-all said the exact same thing to me. W-What a bunch o- *COUGH FIT*- of ass holes."

They all laughed but they were worried.

"Guys, I'm fine. Lets j-j-just go home..."

They all got in the car. Fluffy and Chris up front. Joey and Caleb in the middle. They let Xios in the back since he was already carrying me. He wiped my hair out of my face as I lay on his lap, they thought it was better than me bleeding in a ball.

"Thank you, Xios"

He smiled and looked down at me, telling me how he didn't do much and I pinched his leg.

"Ow! What the hell Aeryn?!"

"You deserved it, you found me Xios. Without you, I would still be with Rulen right now."

He laughs and runs his hands through my hair. It felt nice. Really...nice...

"Aeryn, hey, you can't fall asleep ok?"

"Mhm" I couldn't stay awake, I was so sleepy.

"Aeryn! Hey!" Xios looked worried as I had fallen asleep and my breathing was slower.

"Hey! Drive faster Chris. Fluffy, tell your boyfriend it's an emergency!" Xios looked down at me, shaking me and crying.
