Part Nine

It has been 3 months and I haven't heard from Bruno or ryan. I was still working at the bar in the hotel but I quit the night club and decided to go back to college during the week after work to earn a degree in radiology and so far, I'm doing pretty good that I I get to graduate early with honors and will get a job at one of LA's biggest and best hospitals. I'm so excited I can't wait because I will get paid three times as I do at the bar meaning I will just do that as a side job during the week. It was the weekend and I was getting amelia too and I can't wait to see her again. Few hours later she was at my door and in my arms so I decided to take her shopping for some new clothes. Once we got to the mall, I walked around with her stroller and walked into a very expensive jewelry store to look for her a bracelet when I heard a familiar voice at the register so I moved closer hiding behind a display and listened

Person: I'm looking for the perfect engagement ring for my girlfriend marie

O_O omfg he's going to marry her!! What the actual fuck! That's how you know someone didn't really love you. If he did, he would have stayed, but he just walked out of the house like a coward

Me: so stupid

I saw bruno look my way but I hid some more and hoped that he didn't see me. As I was trying to sneak out the store, I bumped into ryan

Ryan: oh hey giselle

Me: oh my god shut up

I looked behind me and saw bruno looking and I ran out the store with the stroller and out to my car trying to put amelia and the stroller in my car as fast as I could but...

Bruno: Giselle wait!

Nooooo I don't want to talk to him right now, ugh >_<

Bruno: hey long time no see

Me: mhmm I've been busy

Bruno: doing what? I don't see you at the club anymore

Me: I don't work there anymore

Bruno: oh, but you still work at the hotel bar right?

I'm thinking to myself "why is it any of your damn business when you chose to leave"

Me: sometimes

Bruno: so what have been busy with then

Me: I've been going to college which I'm about to graduate tomorrow

Bruno: ohhh congratulations! What were you going for?

Me: to be a radiologist

Bruno: oooo gonna be making the big bucks now

Me: something like that, but I see your about to take the next step in your life

Bruno: and what's that?

Me: going to propose to marie

Bruno: oh haha yeah I'm actually doing it tomorrow

Ahhhhhh on my graduation day!! What the hell!!

Me: *nods* I gotta go so nice talking to you

I got in my car and drove off as tears weld up in my eyes. He said he loved me but yet he's going to propose to her like that night we had great sex didn't matter...I guess I was just another girl on his list to screw over. DAMN IT!! how could I be so damn stupid and let him do me like that? I really thought he was a sweet guy and would understand my situation but I was completely wrong and now I'm sitting here with another hole in my heart that can't be fixed because I have no one. I stopped at the best burger joint in LA and ordered the biggest burger, large fry with chili and cheese and special sauce then a large vanilla milkshake. I couldn't normally eat all this food but I'm pissed and hurt at the same time, I could care less right now.

Jess: hey giselle

Me: *looks up* hey Jess

Jess: dang girl you is throwing down!....okay what he do now?

Me: what?

Jess: Bruno? What did he do?

Me: *sighs and puts my burger down and starts crying again* he's proposing to her tomorrow

Jess: o_o what?! That asshole *looks at you* that is your confirmation giselle to move on and get yourself together girl. you are a radiologist now and can now afford to get you a house and get your baby back.

Me: yeah I know

Marcus told me that if I got me a degree in the medical field of my choice and get a house, he will sign amelia back over to me

Jess: then that's all you need to worry about sweetheart, don't be letting him get to you right now alright?

Me: yeah your right

Jess: alright well I'm gonna get my food and head home so I can eat and go to sleep lal

Me: story of your life haha

Jess: exactly lol see ya

Me: bye

She was so right. That's what I needed to worry about and I will.

{Next Day}

It's graduation day! The most happiest day of my life. I got dressed and put my cap and gown on then picked amelia and we headed off to the college where my family, Marcus and Jess are all waiting for me. When I got there and walked in, I was instantly greeted with hugs and my mom took amelia.

Me: oh my god thanks for coming you guys

Marcus: wouldn't miss it for the world, I'm proud of you

Me: *smiles* thanks marcus

It was time to hear the long speeches and then degree time. When they called my name, everybody started cheering including my family and....Bruno o_o
