Alissa's PoV
I sat up to see that I was in a dark room. I looked around confused trying to find any source of light in the room. I started to panic when I couldn't see anything at all but suddenly a bright light caused me to close my eyes. Nightmare

"Guards! Guards! Please! Somebody! I am not Valentine! I am Magnus Bane! Valentine has escaped! Please somebody! Anybody!" I heard a voice shouted I turn to see Valentine banging on the glass in the cell.

"You did this to me! You trapped me inside of a filthy Warlock!" A loud voice shouted in my head. The voice repeated over and over again getting louder each time. I could feel my ears bleeding.

"It wasn't me!" I shouted by the voice got louder, I fell to my knees screaming loudly breaking the glass...

"Ah!" I yelled as I sat up quickly in my bed, sweating like crazy. It was just a dream. I looked at the clock on my bedside table. It was half 7, Might as get up now. I changed out of my pjs and walked into the main part of the insitute and found Alec and Jace talking while frowning at one of the screens.

"Looks like Azazel is heading south. We've just recovered 4 dead mundanes with his signature MO." Alec said to Jace.

"Okay, then let's go." I said, standing next to the boys. They both looked at me unsure, do I still look so fragile to them?

"To catch a Greater Demon you summoned to the institute, defying all protocol and common sense?" Imogen asked Jace and I.

"Hey, Don't put all this on Jace and Alissa. I had a part in this, too." Alec scowled at Imogen.

"Look, if you wanna bench your two best fighters fine by me." I said, sighing and went to walk off but Alec grabbed my arm stopping me from walking.

"No, first we vanquish Azazel. Then I'll decide what to do with the both of you." Imogen scowled before she walked away.

"Go, we'll catch you up." I smiled softly at Alec as he kissed my forehead and quickly left the Institute. I turned back to Jace and smiled weakly.

Later on...
"Right attack's go as far as the meatpacking district, and then the trail runs cold." I explained to everyone, pulling up a 3D map of the city

"It's no use just tracking the dead bodies, with his abilities to dematerialise, he could be anywhere." Jace stated, making me sigh.

"Maybe, we can help?" Izzy said as she walked over with another boy we have never seen before.

"Izzy!" I gasped, running up to her and then pulled her into a tight hug. "We've been so worried about you. Where have you been?"

"Looking for Azazel. This is Sebastian Verlac, from the London institute. When the demon came after me , Sebastian saved my life." Izzy explained as I looked at him, curiously. Why am I getting really bad vibes off this boy.

"Oh, I simply lent a hand." Sebastian shrugged as if it was nothing.

"Sebastian's an expert on all things Azazel." Izzy said looking at Sebastian proudly.

"Really." I mumbled as I rolled my eyes. I seriously don't like this boy at all.

"When I studied aboard at the Paris Insitute, I specialised in Greater Demons." Sebastian smiled at me softly.

"Thanks for saving my sister. I'm Alec." Alec said to Sebastian. I sighed slightly as they shook hands over the table.

"Hey, yeah, thank you. I'm Jace." Jace said as he also shook his hand.

"The great warrior in the flesh. Your reputation precedes you. As does yours. You must be Clary, One of Valentines daughters." Sebastian turned to Clary.

"Yeah, Don't hold it against me." Clary smiled as she shook his hand too.

"And lastly, Valentine's other twin daughter. It's Alissa I believe?" Sebastian said holding his hand out but I just looked at it. Jace elbowed my ribs, so I glared at him before I went to shake his hand but a electric shock went up my arm as I touched his hand making me flinch slightly.

"Right Erm... So, tell us about Azazel, how do we take him down?" I asked, cautiously.

"The only way to banish him is to puncture his demonic core. In corporeal form. It's between the T8 and T9 vertebrae. But it's not that simple. The core is about the size of a pea." Sebastian explained.

"So the entry point's right below his sternum? If I can get close enough, I can kill him." Jace said.

"You wouldn't have enough velocity and even if you did, the defeat's only temporary. The nasty buggers always find a way to break out their realm and come back." Sebastian explained.

"Alright, than you for the intel. We'll take it from here." I said quickly, gaining weird looks from everybody.

"If I can, I'd like to help..."
"We appreciate that, Sebastian. But, you didn't have clearance to go on a mission. Certainly, Not at this institute." I sighed crossing my arms.

"Oh come on, Alissa you can be serious. I expected this off Alec but not you." Izzy said to me making Alec sigh.

"Hey, Alissa. Look, he clearly knows more than us about Azazel. We could use all the help we can get." Jace said to me,

"Now as far as tracking is concerned, we should really think..."
"We have a very capable Warlock for that. You know what I'm gonna work with Magnus." I said before I started to leave.

"Hey, Alissa, stop. Stop. What is your problem?" Izzy asked me as I looked back to see Sebastian happily talking to my twin sister.

"Sebastian Verlac shows up out of the blue and saves you? Look I don't know why Alec doesn't see how weird this whole situation is. But I'm getting weird vibes off this guy." I whispered as she rolled her eyes.

"What are you trying to say? Alissa, Alec did everything he could do to help me and as your best friend I understand you have a few problems with trusting new people but don't treat Sebastian like the enemy just because he was able to help me. Alissa, if Alec can accept him you can too." Izzy shouted and walked away leaving me to look down at my shoes guilty...
