SCENE 8: TANIKA'S BEDROOM
( Tanika is shown pacing, when HAYDEN enters. They both freeze, shocked to see each other. HAYDEN starts walking towards her, with fire in his eyes.)
HAYDEN
What the hell? You're friends just led me on a wild goose chase, telling me you weren't here!
(TANIKA laughs and HAYDEN smacks her across the face, shutting her up.)
Oh, it's funny now, is it? First, you disrespect me in front of all the recruits, then you yell at me, and now you want to laugh?
(HAYDEN pushes her on her bed, using ropes to tie her wrists and ankles to the corners. He then pulls out a knife and positions it on her arm. TANIKA starts struggling.)
TANIKA
N-no, don't!
HAYDEN
Who's laughing now, apprentice?
(He pushes the knife down, cutting TANIKA'S arm. She screams.)
HAYDEN
Who's laughing now?!
(BLACKOUT. No one needs to see what happens next.)
