SCENE 10 - THE TRAINING ROOM

(TANIKA is shown walking into the training room, where HAYDEN stands.)

HAYDEN

Why hello there, apprentice. Just to let you know, training will be extra difficult today, in preparation for the recital. Understood?

TANIKA

Yes sir.

HAYDEN

Good. Now, let's begin. 100 push ups, 100 sit ups and 3 minute plank to warm up. Go.

(TANIKA starts doing the exercise but slows down after about 5 push ups. HAYDEN kicks her.)

HAYDEN

Start over, you're doing them wrong. God, you're such an idiot. You can't do anything right, can you? 

TANIKA

No sir.

HAYDEN

Great. I've got an imbecile for an apprentice. 

(HAYDEN kicks her again.)

Faster!
