Chapter 24-Suspicious

Koo Rae's POV

"What did you say?" Hanbin suddenly lifted his head when he woke up
"Huh?" me
"Did you say something?" he asked
"Aniya," i kept my phone in my pocket cause I know he'll definitely nag about this

We Arrived at my home and mom prepared a dinner. He invited iKON and I was shocked to see Blackpink there too.

"Bwoya?" i asked

Mom smacked my back and Yeol answered

"It's a celebration for your relationship with Hanbin" Yeol
"Bwo?" i asked again
"Yah, are you dumb? You didn't even tell us you're together" dad

I look at them all in disbelief but before I could even utter a word, iKON went in the house

"Where's Bobby?"Mom asked

And everyone went silent.
Where is he?

"Uhm...Bobby hyung said he can't come" Chanwoo answered
"Oh, wae?"yeol
"What an idiot. Of course he'll not come. He's brokenhearted" dad smacked him.

Mom suddenly coughed and gestured us all to eat.
When we all settled down, Lisa came to me and whispered

"Yah, did you not talk with Bobby yet?" Lisa
"I talked to him but not about Hanbin and me." me
"Yah, that man and Hanbin must be awkward" Lisa
"Yah, how could they be? They're in the same group. It's a family" me

Mom told us to wash the dishes since we're the star of the dinner. I started clearing the dirt on the plates when Hanbin took it away from me.

"I'll do this just stay there" hanbin
"a'right" i sat on the counter top and watch him wash the dishes

I suddenly remembered Bobby. Are they okay?

"Hanbin-ah" i called him
"Wae?" Hanbin
"Are you talking with Bobby?" i asked him

He stood still and stopped what he's doing. I realized they weren't really talking off cam.

"Yah. Why aren't you two talking?! Is it because of me?" i asked
"Give him some time. He's still needs to figure out his feelings to move on. We talked about this. You don't need to worry" he said

He continued washing the dishes and suddenly laughed

"Wae?" i asked him
"Don't you find it funny? Fans still think we go out to eat as bestfriends. I read their comments on my instagram posts" he suddenly said

"And when you did that Ask Koo Rae or something. Everyone thought You are shipping Bobby and Lisa" he laughed again
"Yah you look so crazy right now" i said
"You make me crazy" he said
"Stop it." i said

He laughed at my reaction.

"You're cute when your annoyed" he said
"I said stop" he laughed again
"You know she's right. You should both stop" Lisa entered the kitchen and went straight to the fridge

Hanbin stopped and looked at her

"Yah. Why did Jaewon even gave you a yellow flower on your concert? He usually sends pink" i said
"Oh! She's right! Yah. If there's something going on with you two, tell us right away" Hanbin
"Why would I tell you? We're not close remember? You didn't even tell me about you and Rae!" she said
"Yah, why are you so defensive? There is something going on yieeeeeee" he teased
"Kim Hanbin finish washing the dishes! We have schedule tomorrow! Stop making time so you could be with rae!" Jinhwan oppa shouted from the living room which made us both laughed

"Yah, you look like a maid." i laughed and left him so he can finish the dishes

When I went in the living room. I saw Yeol playing something alone

"Oppa" i called him
"Wae" he asked still busy playing.

I was really curious about that picture I saw that's why I approached him real nice today

"Do you know the Kwon twins?" i asked him
"Deukkie hyung and Donnie Hyung? Oh, we hanged out when I applied for their dance studio. Wae?" he asked
"Who were you with in that dance studio?" i asked again
"Missy, Jin Ae, Youngdon and Youngdeuk. I forgot the other one but we're 6" he said

I suddenly thinked about the picture. What if... one of them was Jin Ae's Boyfriend

"Do you know who Jin Ae's boyfriend is?" i asked
"Yah. I don't know. I would've told you when you were in the hospital" he said

"Yah! Koo Jin Rae!" i was so shocked hearing Hanbin's shout
"Damn it" i whispered and looked at his angry face
"Didn't I told you to stop it?! You really wanted to risk your life for someone who want to rest in peace already?!" Hanbin said

They all looked at us fighting and Lisa suddenly spoke.

"Rae ah, are you digging on it again? Didn't you remember what happened last month? You almost died for God sake! " Lisa
" i just... I just want justice okay?!" i said
"Yah, Jin Ae suicides. She killed herself. That notes aren't enough evidence she was murdered!" Hanbin said
"But- But Harin also said so!" i said
"Harin, Harin! She doesn't even know who killed her! Can you please stop digging your own grave?!" i was so shocked at how angry Hanbin was at me.

"Great." i answered and marched to my room and locked it.
"Yah" Hanbin knocked on my door but I didn't opened it.
"Leave me alone" i said

I heard them bid goodbye to my mom and dad. They didn't bother me anymore. I was so disappointed at myself. I couldn't move on. I couldn't let go. I couldn't even do anything for Jin Ae even from the start.

The next day, I went to the company at 5:30 am. I couldn't sleep so I went to work early.

Daeyong oppa's still on leave. He didn't even call me or visited me in the hospital. I haven't seen him in a month. I wrote a new song and started listening to it.

"Noona." Hyunsuk entered the studio
"Wae" i answered
"Aniya I just want to get out of the practice room for a bit. It's very suffocating. Don't you feel suffocated here too?" Hyunsuk asked
"I do. But where would I even stay" i said
"Hanbin hyung's studio that studio's pretty lit" he said
"No. No. No." i said

He laughed with disbelief. And started teasing me. He left, still teasing me so I just rolled my eyes.

I went in the offices upstairs to look for Daeyong he might be in now. It's been a month

"Rae ah, are you looking for Daeyong? He's still not here. " the employee said. I just went near his table and started writing something. And put it in his drawer. I couldn't close the drawer properly so I pushed it hard. A picture fell off from a table and flew near me. It's a picture of Jin Ae.

My suspicion increased. The killer's just near.

Just when I closed the drawer I heard something unusual in it so I opened it again. I quickly pulled out whatever that is and looked at it.

This phone really look familiar. I don't know whose it is tho. I ran back to my studio and kept the phone. I need to keep this evidence first and look at it when I'm alone.

"Rae ah," someone entered again which made me flinch

It's Lisa.

"Wae" i asked coldly
"I'm sorry about what I said last night. I'm just really worried about you. But please take care always. We'll be having world tour I can't take it when something happens to you while we're away!" she hugged me and I hugged her back

"Arasso. I'm sorry too for being so stubborn I will not open this case again. I promise" i said

Mian. I cant promise. I need to do this alone. I don't need help.

I'm nearing the end. I'll know who the killer is.
