There was lots of yelling in the front of the shuttle. They had gotten the ramp to open but there were security guards there. She walked to the front with her purse over her shoulder. The bad guys were trapped. They finally walked out and Spade did too. When she got outside she took a deep breath. Fresh air never felt so good. While the bad guys were being taken away, Spade's family rushed up to her. Her mom had tears in her eyes and her dad pulled her into a hug and said, "We are so proud of you Spade."
Her mom was just crying. Spade went over to her mom, "It's ok mom. I'm here." she said gently.
"What are we going to do with you... our little NASA worker."
"What?" Spade exclaimed.
Jake came over. "You are going to be working here because from what I saw, you are pretty awesome."
Spade smiled. "Really?" she asked. Her whole family nodded.
Spade and her family went in for a big group hug.
She thought happily, They are proud of me! I actually matter to them. My work is just beginning.
