Jax had been abused by many of his mother's male guests since he was nine. By the time he was eleven he stayed on the streets for as long as possible. It didn't always help. It was around that time he discovered something that did help him cope with his life.

Parkour.

Parkour became his passion. The city became his playground. Within the art of movement, pushing his body with flips and jumps, he felt alive. To endlessly run was freedom.

Jax kept to a fine line between gangs without joining any of them. He took what he wanted, sold what he could, dealt with anyone for just about anything. He always used caution in his dealings, projecting the image of someone not worth wasting time with.

One night he ventured into territory he usually avoided. He was grabbed by a group of guys who told him his life was about to change forever, if he could survive the change. They told him that he had been chosen to be part of their pack, that he would forever be under their command.

If they only knew-

He was part of nothing and no one told him what to do. That's the way he liked it.
