Princess Isabelle was screaming and spraying the pepper spray wildly in the wrong direction, attacking thin air and spraying trees with her eyes closed. She heard laughter and turned around to where it was coming from, she reopened one eye to see Luke holding his stomach, and another guy chuckling along with a girl about her age. Isabelle's cheeks flushed as she placed the pepper spray back in her pocket and reopened the other eye. Luke, after recovering from his laughing fit, made the introduction and upon observation Isabelle realized that Luke and the other guy had similar facial features. If Isabelle wasn't judging wrongly, they had to be related somewhat, cousins maybe, but the intriguing part was his eyes, they were a light grey. Luke introduced him as Alejandro to which he smiled, Alejandro then introduced the girl to Luke and Princess Isabelle as Julia. Julia had her blonde hair down and she was wearing a black and white sweat suit with white sneakers. She gave a shy smile which Princess Isabelle returned and all it took was one quick analysis for them to recognize each other. "Princess Jumanné?, she looked very different in a wig and makeup, but I know that smile anywhere", thought princess Isabelle. "Isa! What is she doing here?", Princess Jumanné asked herself while giving Princess Isabelle an analytical glance. They looked at each other in recognition for a split second before recovering and looking away. After the introduction was made, Luke and Alejandro excused themselves and walked to a nearby tree where they sat and began to have what seemed like a serious conversation based on their facial expressions and gestures. Princess Isabelle took the opportunity to speak with Princess Jumanné as she had so many unanswered questions regarding her. They walked to a nearby log and took a seat, "I mentioned it to you, I didn't know you would do it too", whispered Princess Isabelle. "Of course, I would, you know that I feel the same way about being a princess", Princess Jumanné whispered back. "How? When? I have so many questions, aren't you supposed to be in France?", princess Isabelle whispered. "No, remember that my parents and I are supposed to stay at your Kingdom for the upcoming ball", princess Jumanné whispered back. " Aah, I forgot about that, but I was calling you this morning, we need to talk and where exactly are your parents?", whispered Princess Isabelle taking a quick glance at Luke to ensure that they were still talking. "I couldn't answer the phone in the jet, my apologies and I forgot to call back after landing. We made a stop in the neighboring village so that father could conduct some business, we are staying at the corazón de Diablo hotel and will be leaving in the next three hours to arrive at your Kingdom", whispered Princess Jumanné. "You surprised me, did you say three hours, I should warn you, the note, the one that said", Princess Isabelle was cut off by Princess Jumanné. "Just a few more days Princess or should I say Princesses, I got it too and told père. We were supposed to arrive here tomorrow but because of that note père decided it was best to arrive a day early so he could discuss it with King Rafael", stated Princess Jumanné. "I was planning to tell papá after I returned to the palace, but I don't want him finding out about it from your father. He'd be mad as to why I hid something like that from him and if your parents are going to be arriving soon that leaves me with, no time! I will have to leave soon", whispered Princess Isabelle. Luke and Alejandro were now walking towards them when Princess Isabelle got the call. A call from Clara now would only mean one thing and Princess Isabelle knew that she had to leave, and she had to leave now. Without answering the phone, Princess Isabelle got up, told Princess Jumanné to cover for her before telling the guys she had to go and ran off. "Where's she going?", asked Luke confused, "uhm her father just returned from London", lied Princess Jumanné. "London?", Alejandro asked in a skeptical tone, "yeah, uh, her father is a member of the grand council, and he went to deal with some business in regard to the upcoming ball", Princess Jumanné said going with the flow. "Didn't you too just meet, how'd you know all that?", asked Luke, "That's what we were talking about while sitting here, she told me she was waiting on the call and she just got it", replied Princess Jumanné. "Okay, well then we should head back to the village, this is enough for one day", said Alejandro to which everyone agreed. Luke and Alejandro bid their fair well to the animals then they all started back for the village.

Princess Isabelle ran through the forest and after receiving the second call from Clara, she knew it was time to fly. Another call meant that her mother was closer to her bedroom. What took a ten minutes' walk she ran in four minutes. Princess Isabelle blazed out of the garden, through the village and ran towards the palace gates. She arrived at the gates breathless and immediately started scouting for guards when she saw a black dress along with black flats on the lounge chair beside the pool. The gates were slowly opening, and she knew that it was Clara, as soon as the space was big enough to fit her petite body through, she slid through the gates and went towards the pool. She grabbed the clothing and ran into the outside fitting room. As soon as she was inside, she took the wig off letting her hair loose and wiped the fake freckles from her face. She then took off her clothes and slid in the skin fitting dress and flats, threw the clothes in a hidden corner along with her side bag and exited the room. Princess Isabelle ran back to the lounge chair and sat, only to see Clara dropping the rope. She overheard Clara telling Queen Melaine that she was relaxing by the pool. Princess Isabelle grabbed the rope, ran to the fitting room, reopened the door and threw the rope inside. Closed the door, ran back to the lounge chair and sat picking up the magazine at the table just in time for Queen Melaine to peek over the balcony. "Isa dear could you come up to your room, we need to talk", stated Queen Melaine.

All Isabelle could do was nod as she was completely out of breath, in a conversation for oxygen with her mind, lungs and the rest of her body. This type of anxiety adding to her exhaustion was the icing on the cake, her heart had officially left the chat. "Well, I wanted adventure so why complain", she thought to herself as she entered the palace from the side door which led her through the gym and to the main staircase. Princess Isabelle entered her room and hugged her mother, secretly winking at Clara and thanking her, she then pulled away and went to sit on her bed. "Darling, Queen Latifa and King Dejean will be staying with us as well as Princess Jumanné for the upcoming ball", said Queen Melaine. "Ooh how lovely, I had been wanting to see Jumanné for some time now", answered Princess Isabelle with as much enthusiasm as she could muster up. "Mamá, Clara will also be staying with me from now on", stated Princess Isabelle smiling. "Well Isa that's wonderful, it's about time she's practically family", Queen Melaine replied while smiling as well. 'Well, that is the good news", stated Princess Isabelle now nervous not knowing how her mother would react to the news. "Good? What's the bad news? asked Queen Melaine turning to Clara who was designing some outfits trying to avoid her stare. "Well, this morning, there was someone fully clothed in black on my balcony but when I looked away then took a next glance the person was gone. Mamá I know it was a real person because he/ she left a note in my bathroom", explained Princess Isabelle while Clara got up and fetched the note that was on the nightstand and handed it to the Queen. As she read the note, there was fear in her eyes but only for a split second before being replaced by anger, 'How did he know where to find you? How did he know the precise location of your room? Isabelle listen to me, no more sunbathing unless there is security do you understand?", she asked looking Princess Isabelle dead in the eyes.

Queen Melaine's eye color had the ability to change from light green to dark green but that only happened when she was pissed and that was a rare occurrence. Right at that instance, Queen Melaine's eyes were a strong shade of dark green. Clara excused herself before exiting Princess Isabelle's bedroom leaving them to have a private talk but more importantly to fetch the things that Isabelle left in the fitting room. Isabelle had never seen her mother that flustered, she was always the calm and collected one leaving the aggression to her husband. "Sí mamá", she replied nodding her head. Queen Melaine continued "The guards were limited today because your father went with some of them to meet Queen Latifa and her family but as soon as he returns, and I tell him about this. Authur and his men won't even be able to come within a mile radius of this village without us knowing", she stated too calm for the liking of Princess Isabelle. Her eyes changed back to the light green that princess Isabelle loved as she finished "look Isa, we'll protect you, we'll protect you and princess Jumanné, she's a sister to you making her a daughter to us". "Sí mamá, yo sé", replied Princess Isabelle. "Te amo mucho mi niñita, ahora pero lo que es aún más importante siempre", Queen Melaine said before kissing Princess Isabelle on her forehead and exiting the room. Princess Isabelle heard Queen Melaine call two guards, one of them went on the balcony and the other kept watch at her bedroom door. "Well, this is going to be interesting", she thought as Clara re-entered the room and went straight to the dressing room to pick out Princess Isabelle's evening attire for the important dinner. Princess Isabelle had so many unanswered questions for Princess Jumanné and tonight she was planning to get those questions answered.
