Chapter 12: Duet Dance Practice

[Sonic POV] (still going to school)

(A month later)

I walked to the gang, I was leaning my back against the wall.

"Guys! Guys!" Tails came in, panting heavily.

"What?" Shadow and i said in unison.

"I heard theres a Dance Battle.. and for it, duet.." He explained.

(Time skip - Auditorium)

I grinned, "Shads why dont you be my pair?"

"What! I never danced in my whole life Sonic!"

"C'mon! Next week is the dance!"

"No."

"Ahhh... Fine! Im going to smash you into pieces if you dont!"

"Fine!"

Then we started to talk about the background music, since i have the taste for Music. We picked the another language song.

We started to practice, but Shadow refused.

"Why fans?"

"Oh cmon!!! Do you want me to haunt you for the rest of your life!?"

"Ok ok gee!"

"Just follow my lead, moron."

And we started to do our moves in the correct time, Shadow perfected it. And i did this, few months ago.

"You perfected it shads." I exclaimed.

"How the hell did you know about this?" He said doing the ending move.

"I did that when i was on your home and you were off to your thing."

"Seriously."

"Yes, seriously."

"Eh, not bad."

"You know you have to memorize the lyrics.." I mumbled.

Soon it was lunch then we grab a bit of food and yes i have a key.

I ate french fries and he ate ice cream.

Well we started to train after school and yeah trying to perfect the moves, its duet remember?

(At saturday....)

[Still Sonic Pov]

Shadow and i are actually training for the last time. Tomorrows the duet. So yeah.

"I swear..." Shadow murmured.

"You know you have to memorize it, again. Anyway, take a break if you want to."
