Demigods At Hogwarts

Chapter 14

Percy POV

We were walking back from the hospital, discussing what we wished we could do to Umbridge (the topic never got old), when we heard a bang. We all whipped around to search for the source of the noise. Nico saw it first

"hellhounds" he said quickly. We glanced at each other, we knew what we had to do. I shrugged and ran. Annabeth followed me, Nico and Hazel shadow travelled behind them and Thalia went to find a point to shoot them from.

Hermione POV

On the way back we were having a discussion about Umbridge when we heard a bang. The Americans whipped their heads around. With a look they seemed to understand what was going on. Annabeth and Percy ran towards the noise. Nico and Hazel disappeared and Thalia ran sideways. We realised what they were going afterward. Five creatures the size of cars were running down the street. Ron gasped

"Per...Percy has a...a sword" he stuttered

I looked at Percy, Ron wasn't wrong, he held a thin blade. Annabeth held a dagger. I looked around for the others. Thalia held a bow, Nico had a sword and Hazel had a dagger (I know she normally fights with a spatha but I feel like she would have learnt a smaller weapon to hide discreetly on her person). They attacked the creatures. Within three minutes the creatures were gone. The five returned covered in gold dust

"Bloody hell" said Ron, which for once was an accurate summary of the events. The adults were ahead and hadn't noticed.

"What is going on? Why are you so far behind us?" Mrs Weasley demanded

Percy, Nico and Thalia looked sheepish, Hazel looked down shyly and Annabeth looked like her brain was working faster than the speed of light.

"We'll discuss it at Grimmauld Place" Annabeth said to us before walking down the road to the adults as if nothing had happened.

Harry POV

I had never seen anything like what they did. They destroyed the monsters then came back as of it was nothing to them. They moved very fast and seemed to understand each other without talking. I was, of course, monumentally confused but decided to save the questions for later. They had to get an explanation when we got back.

When we arrived at Grimmauld Place Hermione dragged us up into the girls' bedroom.

Annabeth POV

I had expected this from the moment we got here but it was still a little nerve racking for Hazel. She was worried she would get bullied again.

"What just happened" Hermione asked

"Do we tell them?" Asked Percy

"What?" Said Ron

"I think we have to" said Hazel and I (Hazel learnt Ancient Greek. The other demigods are being taught Latin by Hazel and Annabeth, who learned it immediately after meeting the Romans).

"Will you talk in English" Harry said angrily " what is with this secrecy"

"Start talking 'Beth" said Thalia with a nod
