They say, "No way, no how,
Your dreams can't
Come true."
They mean we can't
Choose our own path.
That our fates are already decided.
If that is so,
Then why would we even
Be capable?
Therefore, we must
Have a choice
In whatever part we play.
But now it's time.
Do we choose our road
Or do we sit back
And be herded down another path?
I guess it means fate is not decided;
Only we
Have the power
To direct what path
We take.
