Bat Star

What is its name?
Asterina miniata
or
Patiria miniata
Who knows,
it's a flip-flop of an
Echinoderm of the class Asteroida
because scientists can't decide to which
Genus it belongs
It's as large as eight inches across
and while that may seem small
to us all
it's plenty big enough for this lifestyle
With arms as many as nine
who are all shorter than its center is wide
A rainbow of color
shown on its skin
yet a preference seems to be
red, orange, or mottled white
It's friends with a worm-
Ophiodromus pugettensis
Its children have birthdays all year around
for its breeding season
virtually never ends
But why does it matter?
Because this omnivore and scavenger
is more than just another star
It has no limitation
but benefits us in embryological experimentation

Hi guys! I hope you liked this one! I know it's different than my other ones.  It was an assignment for my marine biology class.
What are your thoughts on it?
