𝘾𝙊𝘽𝘼𝙇𝙏 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙉𝙊𝙍𝙎 𝙃𝘼𝙏𝙀𝘿 𝙃𝙀𝙍 life more than anything else in the world. She hated how everyday, she would wake up wishing someone was by her side. She hated how every second she felt her heart so empty for the pain that was still enclosed there. She hated how every minute she thought as if there was no point to keep going on anymore. She hated how every hour she wanted to cry until there was no energy left inside her. Cobalt felt this for a whole entire year. It wasn't because she was living in space since the day she was born, nor was it because she lost her mother and twin brother. It was because she lost her first love, her first boyfriend.
This boy was named John Murphy, and he was the boy who broke Cobalt's heart. When John was arrested, Cobalt tried to be there for him through everything. She tried to come on every Visitation Day. She snuck him more rations than they'd give him. She had always been there for him. But, one day, John had figured it wasn't enough. He pushed her away until she finally had enough. When Cobalt asked about it, John did nothing but leave her. Cobalt was devastated, she knew she lost something else in her life. And for a year, it was a train wreck. She became angered, so angered that it even got her arrested.
When Cobalt got sent to the Skybox, she didn't think that she'd be sent down to Earth with 99 other prisoners. All 100 of them having to survive everyday no matter what just to stay alive. Cobalt thought that her pain would never end. Especially when she found out that one of those prisoners she would be with was John Murphy. He was desperate to make things right with her, she was desperate to keep her distance. Cobalt didn't think anything would be able to rebuild their relationship. She didn't even think war would be able to, but oh, how wrong she was.
