Not a single stars to be seen with only the moon shone brightly in the dark cloudy sky. My eyes shifted down to the fields. I could see my reflection against the window of the train.

I turned to the man beside me. "Papa," I called his attention from the magazine he was reading. "Pee."

"Right now, sweetheart?" He asked.

I sat down on the seat and said while nodding slowly, "Uh-huh."

Papa stood up reached for my hand. I happily took his warm large hand. As we walked a kid tripped from our behind, I helped her stood up.

"Thank you," she said and gave a cat-ear clip. She ran away before I could speak.

"Mab?" Papa called me. I went back to Papa and hold his hand.

As we passed the crowd of people sitting on their respective seats, there were different kinds of emotion clashing together. Some people are happily bonding, laughing, eating also sleeping together. And some people are also sad, homesick and all alone.

When we arrive at the restroom, Papa opened the door. "Papa stay here, okay?" I said.

"But sweetheart."

I squeezed his hand and said with a toothy smile, "Don't worry Papa, I'm a big girl now."

He stared at me for a second before sighing. "What can Papa do, my Mab is a young lady now," he said smiling.

After I had peed, I tiptoed so that I could wash my hand but the faucet was not working. I looked down the sink and found a weird box. I went out and told papa about the box. "Papa, there's a weird clock box that was taped underneath the sink." As I said those word papa's color on his face drained. He quickly went inside the restroom. When he got out, a woman who was about to enter screamed in surprise and called Papa a pervert but he ignored her.

Papa's face looked panicking as he hoisted me into his arm and carry me away from the restroom and away from our seats. He stopped where few people are seated. My eyes were moistened from the actions that he gave me. I was scared and I didn't know what was happening.

He brought me to my feet. He knelt down and saw me panicking too. He took a deep breath and looked at me calmly. His gripped on my shoulder was stern that it somehow helped me to stop shuddering. "Sweetheart, Mab, I want you to be brave. Braver as you can be, alright?" Without waiting for my answer he stood and took on of the luggage and threw it at the window. It shuttered into millions of pieces.

I jumped while the people around screamed. I took a step back when he stepped towards me.

"Sweetheart, you said you're a big girl now," he said with a calming voice and carried me into his arms.

"A-Are we going to ju-jump of the t-t-t-train?" I asked stuttering.

He stared at me at first before he said, "Yes sweetheart. If something happens," another paused and took another deep breath. "I'll be always by your side. Me and your mother."

I need to be brave, for the sake of mother and father. From far I saw guards were running toward us, they were blowing their whistles and shouting. Papa stepped away from the shuttered window then ran.

In a blink of an eye papa was running then the next thing I knew his hold was loosen and I was flying out of the train. Everything became slow.

I watched the guards grabbed papa as he fought.

"I love you, Mab," he shouted against the sound of the train with tears flowing out of his eyes.

And he was gone.

I fell on the ground and rolled a couple of times. Parts of my body hit some rocks. I couldn't feel any pain as I stood up and ran to the train.

Papa. Papa. Papa.

"Papa!" I shouted as the train burst into light.
