She watched the handsome young man flew towards the floor. He was now covered with pink icing and chocolate cake. The audience cheered and laughed around her. Not wasting time she took the little girl's hand and went back to her party.

What is she even doing here, she asked herself. She was supposed to be at the seminar listening to some alumni that her department chose so they can share their story and give tips. And here she was wearing a bunny costume.

It all started because of the traffic this afternoon. One-fourth of her ass was seated on the chair of the jeepney, in fact, she was already squatting. She couldn't hold it much longer, her sweat drips down on her face to her bag. She pulled the ropes that hang on the ceiling of the jeep—indicating the driver should stop—even though the jeep was not moving at all.

She stepped out of the jeep and wiped her sweat with her handkerchief. Since she was near the D-Square she decided to grab an ice cream and stay at the store to cool herself inside.

Stepping inside the square the surroundings became fresher. Trees wear placed in the middle of the brick made streets and between the stores.

As she gets nearer at the ice cream store a little girl pulled the hem of her t-shirt.

"Bunny?" The girl asked. She looked like the same age as her five years old brother.

"You want my bunny key chain?" She asked.

The little girl shook her head. She was relieved, the key chain was from his brother. He'll definitely be angry at her if she gives the key chain away.

"Will you be my bunny?" The little girl asked. The girl was like proposing which was so adorable that she fought not to squeeze in her arms. She was charmed by the cuteness of the girl that she had to say yes.

"What's your name?" She asked as she carried the girl.

"I'm Maia," she said. "What about big sis?"

"Nice to meet you, Maia. My name is Abbygail, but people call Abby."

Maia pointed at a family restaurant where there were decorated balloons and colored shape papers inside. The whole store was occupied that costumers couldn't come in. "Is it your birthday?" Abby asked. Maia nodded in reply. "Where are your parents?"

"Work," Maia said with sadness on her voice.

"Don't be sad Maia. They are working hard just to give you a better future," she said. Maia burrowed her face on Abby's neck.

When they arrived Maia's babysitter looked so relieved when she saw her. Who would have thought in her 18 years of existence she'll be wearing a bunny costume. Thankfully the costume inside didn't smell the sweat of a person who used it before her. Abby did her best to make Maia and the other children laugh and have fun inside the bunny costume.

The children were playing tag inside so Abby took the chance to take some rest but the children started to run outside even Maia was there. So, she chased them. They were screaming joyfully as they ran away from her like she's some monster while she, on the other hand, was sweating like a pig inside. Maia had bumped to a girl, later on, the girl's dress was smudged by the icing that was on Maia's cheek.

Maia had already stopped crying. She was really scared because of that bitch. That boyfriend of that bitch should have not stepped in. Abby released a long sigh. She shouldn't be frustrated now.

Abby called the little girl and knelt in front of her. She took off the bunny head. "I'm so sorry for ruining your birthday."

Maia shook her head and hugged her. "Thank you, big sis. I wish you can be my sister." She kisses her on the cheek before running to the babysitter.

Abby felt determined that if she sees that bitch again she'll take revenge for scaring the poor child. And even that guy, who looked familiar.

I think have met him somewhere, she thought.
