Currently jungkook was in the cafeteria after his college was over, meeting his girlfriend at their usual coffee shop.
Jungkook had always been attentive to every sentence yoona says but today he was acting weird.

Jungkook kept wondering of what happened in the morning.
He kept asking himself questions as to why did he act so flustered at that time.

What happened to my heart that time?

Why do I was it so different?

Oh come on jungkook stop thinking things

He was acting right?

Mrs. Jee was there, he only saved us from the situation

Then what the fuck is this?!

And everytime I remember it why does my heart flips?!

"BABY!" Yoona yelled and that brought jungkook straight away to earth.

"Y-yeah?" He asked a bit flustered

"Where did you zone out to?" She asked in a bit disappointed tone

"Oh nothing" he tried to waver off the thoughts and the topic

"You know you've been acting weird today" she quirked an eyebrow

"Me?! It's you who is assuming things!" Jungkook said his voice raising a bit as he was too embarrassed of himself because he wanted to let off those thoughts yet his brain wasn't implying to his request

His girlfriend couldn't say anything it was the first time jungkook had yelled at her, she was too shocked to muster anything

After realising what he had done, he felt a bit sorry yet he did not apologize

"Let's go, my mood is a bit off right now. I'll call you later if possible" he said as he rubbed his temples

Yoona thinking it was better option nodded and got up from her seat

"Jungkook, stop touching your cheeks again and again, it's a bit weird" yoona said when it had been out of her control because jungkook was touching his cheek repeatedly ever since they came to the coffee shop, she let it pass a few times but it's weird, it was looking as if he had some weird habit.

Jungkook who was again touching the area which he was too oblivious to was taken aback by the statement

"uh yeah sorry" he scratched his back as he awkwardly detached his hand from his cheek

They both went their own ways. Jungkook towards their home (albeit he still wasn't prepared to go so, fearing that he had to face taehyung and he would get flustered and recall what happened today).

As he finally reached their home he was hesitantly taking small steps beckoning with second thoughts whether to go inside or not, but after fighting with a dilemma he came up to a conclusion that he has no choice rather than facing taehyung.

Come on jungkook! You are just making a fuss about it.

But his soft lips and those doe eyes- oh come the fuck jungkook! Stop thinking about all that!

You are straight and he has a boyfriend and what all you are doing is just acting!

And goddamn stop touching your cheeks!

He thought as he slapped away his another hand which kept brushing towards the area where taehyung had kissed, he rubbed his sweaty paws over his pants, though literally there wasn't anything to make a fuss about but why does he feels like a kid who has failed in his exams and has to take his parents to parent-teacher meet

All this was on jungkook's side. Taehyung's situation could be complied to this as well. Being scolded in the college by the professor for zoning out and ignoring all the balbbering his boyfriend was doing, though jimin couldn"t care any less.

Taehyung was a bit early than jungkook, sighing a sigh of relief because he would be mentally prepared to face jungkook

Though all he could think was the petal like skin of jungkook's cheeks and he was ignorant on taking a mental note as to how his heart beats quickened

Though his heart felt a little pang on thinking about it, but he was too occupied to notice it as he was preparing his speech on how to greet jungkook as he would come home, even though it was not needed but he made sure they didn't share any awkward moment and talk about the topic

He was cut off of his thoughts when the door opened, he pulled on his smile although he wasn't sure if it even looked real or not

"Welcome home jungkook" he greeted trying to sound as normal as possible

"Hey taehyung" jungkook said doing the same taehyung was doing (although they looked like this: 😬)

The two hours then went equally okay as they both avoided each other, taehyung spending half of his time in the kitchen while jungkook in his bedroom.

It was time for Mrs. Jee to come and they regretted on chosing to live a life like this.
Jungkook decided that if they have to act without letting Mrs. Jee know then they both have to clear their misunderstandings.

Before Mrs. Jee's arrival time, jungkook finally build the courage to go and talk to taehyung about it

"Umm..hey taehyung?" he called, nervously scratching his back and trying to make the fragments of his speech into concrete statements

"Yeah" taehyung came out of the kitchen, his voice with the exact same energy as jungkook's

"A-about the morning-" he was cut off by taehyung

"Ohh about the morning, it was all an act to be precise we have to keep up with it if we wanna stay in this house, so whatever we do or gonna have to do, just stays withing the act?" he looked at jungkook who was taking in his words

When he was finally done, he sighed a sigh of relief that the pressure of expressing his thoughts have been put to ease by taehyung and he couldn't be more thankful to him

"Yeah sure" he said and then they both smiled a genuine smile towards each other ready to put up the "act" in front of Mrs. Jee

Albeit, their heart wasn't allowing them to accept that what happened in the morning was the audacity of just an "act"

The doorbell rang and they open the door with wide smiles for Mrs. Jee to enter

"Time to put up the show" they think in their mind and welcome Mrs. Jee
