Day 1

Jungkook stretched his arms and got out of the tent. It was cold today, so he went back inside and woke taehyung up.

"Taehyung" he shook the other, the other groaned and wiggled in his place

The other repeatedly called for him, so he had no choice but to wake up.

"Have you packed sweaters in the suitcase, it's cold outside" Jungkook asked

"Yeah, they are in the backpack" taehyung said in a raspy voice and slept again

Jungkook nodded and took the sweaters out (both for taehyung and himself)

He was about to go outside but his mind was telling him to be in the canvas, to be present with taehyung, so he sat down and drew out his phone. He was about to open his instagram when he was pulled by his hand from taehyung. He planted down flat as taehyung clung onto him, that time suddenly his heart quivered.

He wanted to lay like this, for a while but in the end he can't (not that he doesn't want to but he can't). 

"Taehyung" he said as he tried to move escape from the grip. The younger revoked but later stood up in a bolt, a sudden blush covering his face.

"Sorry" he said as he dashed out leaving jungkook with a puzzled face because it wasn't that he was minding taehyung clasping onto him.

Jungkook was about to go outside when the tent flap opened suddenly, making the two of their chests collide.

"Sorry" taehyung repeated once again and hurriedly went over to grab his pullover. When he was about to leave jungkook stopped him.

"What is wrong with you?" He asked as he grabbed the other's lanky wrist.

"Jungkook, leave me" taehyung said as he tried to jerk out of the man's strong grip

"Not until you tell me why are you being absurd around me" the buff male asked in a dominating tone, trying to figure out what's wrong with the other.

"Jungkook I think we can't be friends anymore" the inferior said as he closed his eyes, due to the pain

"Why so?" Jungkook's grip stiffened around the other's wrist as he clutched his jaw totally troubled with the latter's statement

"Jungkook you're hurting me" Taehyung said as tears started cascading in his eyes. The other's eyes softened, jaw loosened as his grasp on the other's wrist diminished.

Taehyung moved out of the spot and turned to leave.

"Let's just keep it only to the acting part" he said before leaving.

Jungkook's arms fell on his side inertly as he looked at the departing figure, he sighed. His heart scrunched over taehyung's words.

"If you wanna keep it like that, let's keep it that way" he said to no one around and walked outside towards the side where everyone was standing. Taehyung was there too but not looking at him, he was standing there absent-minded, but jungkook couldn't care any less

The sports guide came towards them and stood at a trunk of a cut tree.

"Good morning, everyone" he yelled as everyone responded

"I am here to announce the tent partners who will be together for all activities and games. The tent partner would not be of the same college but of both colleges put together, so they can interact with one another" the sports guide announced

This was the only thing running in taehyung's mind.

"Soobin and yeonjun"

"Baekhyun and jackson"

"And last taehyung and jungkook"

Fuck it!

"Everyone please reach your respected partners and stay with them every time otherwise penalties would be charged" the sports guide said and charged away.

Everybody went to their own partners and everyone seemed happy with the results, to make new friends except the pair. Taehyung hesitated before reaching jungkook, who didn't even spare a look to him.

"I see, we are partners now" jungkook said monotonously 

Taehyung was too ashamed to speak anything

"Looks like you don't wanna be" taehyung asked finally looking up

"Oh no I don't, after all" he leaned closer to taehyung's ear as the other fiercely flushed

"We're not friends, anymore" jungkook said bitterly

Taehyung's heartbeat fastened as he backed away from jungkook.

"I think we should focus on the camp" taehyung said submissively looking so small under jungkook's glaring.

"Gather everyone" the sports instructor announced and everybody collected at the place

"Your first task for today is to do fishing, one partner would hold the fishing hook and the other would row the boat to the lake. The team who wins would get a special treat for dinner" the sports teacher instructed as everyone started to mumble to each other

Maybe, this camp can bring their broken friendship together

Or maybe even worsen it?
