Tony steals a pufferfish (Percy Jackson and the Avengers)

Things start to go wrong (unsurprisingly)

Percy PoV

Percy wasn't surprised when things started going south.
By now he had probably so far south he had gone around the world. Twice.
But he didn't feel any less annoyed when he finished his shift and noticed something missing. More of someone.

Percy was finishing his final rounds of his shift when he went to check on his favourite puffer fish. He stopped dead when he saw the note on the tank. He snatched it up and tried to read. Keyword: tried.

Deer dude who knowed me out with a plastic
(Translation) Dear dude who knocked me out with a plushie,)

I sealed ur fish
(I stole ur fish)
Date it
(Deal wit it.)

Your secretary
(Yours sincerely )
Person you knowed out with a plastic
(Person you knocked out with a plushie.)

When Percy got someone to read it out loud, he crushed the paper into a ball, his eyes lit with determination.

Oh no he didn't.

And so began the long trek to a certain llama shaped building.
All the while feeling as if he had forgotten something.

***time skip***

After trekking for several hours, stopping multiple times to ask what the signs said,he reached the building.

One small problem. Being the seaweed brain he was, he had zero idea how to get in the building.
Well shist.
So he walked in and did the only thing he could think of.

He walked up to the receptionist (the same one he had seen when he first came) and said.
"Hi um ...the owner of this building sort of stole my puffer fish and I would like him back please"
The receptionist didn't even look mildly surprised. Instead she just pressed a button, spoke into a microphone before turning back to Percy.
"I'm sorry but Mr Stark has told me to tell you to leave"
"Um ok...."
He quickly left.
So that didn't work.

He still felt like he had forgotten something.

Back to the task at hand. Time to call for back up. He whistled a taxi cab whistle and from the shadows popped out mrs O'Leary.

Bork bork.
The tank sized dog barrelled towards Percy and covered him in a thick layer of dog saliva.

"Ugh eww....nice to see you too girl" He wiped a layer of saliva off his face
He scratched her behind the ear and she borked happily.
"Alright girl do you think you could get me to there" he said pointing tho the balcony of the tower.
She borked and Percy hoisted himself onto her back. Then Mrs O'Leary ran at a nearby shadow and the familiar feeling of being sucked through shadows rushed to Percy. They appeared on the balcony and scared a poor pigeon who was minding his own business.
Percy got off mrs O'Leary and muttered a thanks. Mrs O'Leary plopped herself on the floor and fell asleep. Now, onto the mission at hand.

Thankfully the door was open, or else he would have had to have waited awkwardly until someone noticed him, which no doubt would have taken all night considering it was 9 o clock at night. Percy quietly crept through the hallway, when he heard voices.

Shist

He looked around and noticed a vent above him. Perfect. The two people passed under him with no idea that someone was above them. Percy continued his mission, this time crawling through the vents.

He was had just turned a corner when he heard movie playing.

His favourite movie: Finding Dory.

He paused to listen, he was just at the part that Dory found her parents, when the vents started creaking.
Someone walked in under him, announcing the arrival of popcorn.

Ohh shist.

Percy prayed to any god he knew, but apparently all the gods wanted to see him suffer because the vent gave in and he fell. Straight into someone's popcorn. Percy inwardly cringed.

The person had blue eyes and short, blond hair. He didn't seem to mind the extra weight so he must have been strong.

But he did mind someone falling from the ceiling into his popcorn. The other people in the room mirrored his look of surprise.

Percy in his panic did something stupid.
He kissed the blond dude on the forehead, drew cross on his face and said
"Jesus loves you" before bolting full speed down the corridor.

Great, this is probably the start of trouble was all Percy thought as he continued running down the corridor.

Little did he know that he had forgotten one very important thing.
